Saw my laptop's temperature rise up to 80°~ C, turned it around and found out my fan stopped working. Bought a can of compressed air today, disassembled the laptop for the first time ever, cleaned the ball of dust clogging the fan and reassembled the whole thing back together. Fan's working and I only missed one screw that goes ~somewhere~. It's a good day. lol
I'm honestly surprised everything is working fine so far. Plus, I've had the laptop turned on for about half an hour and the temperature is stable at ~45° C. I'll try playing a game soon and see what happens... ps: I love disassembling stuff.

It was a mandatory overtime day for me, but there wasn't enough room on the warehouse dock for many people to work, so we ended up working in completely different areas than usual. I was very lucky and had to prep (wrap items in bubble wrap and/or stick them in plastic bags). For ten hours. In the same damn spot. And I only get two 15 min breaks and a 30 min lunch break. My back hurt so bad by the end of the day...
Edit: I work at an Amazon warehouse.

Today was my second day of school as a Senior!
I couldn't take Honors Art and Spanish 2 together, so I have to take this ApexLearning online program for Spanish. It's okay, but.. I'm not sure how the tests will be or how much I'm even supposed to finish per day. I'll just do as much as I can. I'm so excited that I got to take Honors Art, Spanish II, and Ceramics II because electives are hard to fit and I absolutely love each of these classes. We had our first soccer practice today as well and it feels so good to get back out there. My coach has given my name out to some college coaches, so hopefully I can be scouted! I joined Yearbook Committee, Newspaper, and Key Club, so this year is going to be really hectic but it's the good, happy type of busy.

Sitting in the computer lab and I'm hearing people talk about Asian stereotypes.
Ah okay.

Something like "My white friend ran into an asian restaurant after I did speaking in a FOB accent, I looked at him and said "Dude, it's like 40 to one", where he said "They're asian, they aren't going to do anything!", and no one did.

Sometimes I want to yell at my dad for being a smartass plantain. And him not listening to his own family is putting us into financial trouble.

Met a friend from Philly in Newark and went to the movies to see We're the Millers. Hilaaaaarious.

So for the past two days I've been going along with my classes, regardless of the fact out of seven classes, my school amazingly placed me in AP History, AP English, Chemistry And Algebra II Honors. I have no complaints. Whatever helps my transcript.

Drove down to Emeryville today for some lunch and shopping with friends. Didn't buy much besides an iced coffee, but I had some mall-Korean food at the Public Market and it was way better than I expected--who knew they would have actual authentic-tasting Korean food at a food court?
Also, managed to (approximately) hit macros today for maximum gainz, despite the way-off lunch, with an awesome protein shake I made up on the spot about 10 minutes ago. According to some estimations I got using a Panda Express nutrition calculator, my lunch was about 1220 calories, but I tend to overestimate. I'm really glad I managed to work around that today.

I think my boss keeps sending me the wrong files? He takes a while to respond and has a weird schedule so I've spent a lot of time doing nothing and I kinda feel bad.
But anyways, I've been working on a powerpoint that will be shown at the 7th workshop on Nuclear Measurements, Evaluations and Applications (NEMEA) in Geel, Belgium. Unfortunately, I won't be attending the conference but it's still awesome my name will be on work that will be shown to international nuclear physicists. Dorms open on the 21st, classes start the 26th - hoping to move back in ASAP zzzz

Complicated. Jesus, watching this daytime soap is making me seriously think.
Also, school's starting soon and I haven't started the Summer Reading Assignment yet. ;cry;

I had surgery on Wednesday and I still feel like pomegranate. The breathing tube messed up my vocal cords, so I can't really speak and when I do it hurts and makes me sound ridiculous. My body hurts all over and all I want to do is just sleep till next year. *le sigh*

So what happened today hmmm...
i turned 18, played maplestory and watched The Conjuring with interwebs friends while screaming at each other through Line. Way better than IRL friends tbh.

After a few days of not training/bossing and giving up on attendance mules I'm really starting to wonder if I'll still be playing maple before 2014 starts..
On a side note, I went out to dinner with some friends at a Japanese place and was amazed at what I got. Spent 12.50 or so on a beef curry dish thingy with the miso soup and the other sides along with a HUGE honeydew bubble tea.

I've been studying for and writing exams for over a month now and it won't end until October. I need a break.
