Realized Old Navy has poor quality control for their jeans. There is a huge gaping (and embarrassing) hole on my jeans just after a couple of wears and washes. It sucks because it has a nice color to it.

Uploading a whole hour of Zero's tutorial to YouTube takes forever. Why does AT&T have terrible uploading speeds? I have to wait 2 whole hours for this pomegranate.
If I did the rendering on my old computer, it would've probably taken a little over a day, this beast did it in 2 hours and I'm grateful for that.

My position at InStyle right now is freelance work, so I did sign up for this kind of inconsistency. The slight annoyance comes from this being the second week in a row I was told I couldn't work after being scheduled, but in the grand scheme of things I'm back to the same quantity of weeks through the end of August that I was scheduled originally, so it's not the end of the world. I just need to find another job to supplement these off weeks!

Yeah, for their prices you're getting some of the lowest quality in the industry. Still good for when you need something to beat around in though! I'd suggest Gap for much better quality for the price (especially considering they have 30% off like all the time).

I just moved into a new place that had wireless internet, but the connection was horrible. It would keep going in and out every few minutes. And, on top of that, it was 6 down 1 up. I use the internet a LOT so it was worth it to me to buy my own private connection with Comcast. I'm glad that they were happy to take my money. Well worth the purchase.

Almost done with the move. Now I just need to get this personal refrigerator in from Sears and move all my food over from my old apartment and I'm done.

Pretty quick move. I moved everything in two days.

Less than a week until the move! My room is 90~95% done being packed; I'm such a packrat.

That's probably the first and last time you'll say you were happy with Comcast taking your money.

For all the crap I hear about Comcast I have no complaints with them. I haven't had any service outages and customer service has never been an issue. Okay, maybe my complaint would be pricing and anticompetitive practices, but okay.

Had a nice trip to Nanaimo/Tofino/Ucluelet the past few days.
I'll be back in Illinois a week from tomorrow...thankfully Stephen will be coming on the 1st.

Got this text from my dad today and it just reassured me that I'm doing the right thing by moving away from my family:

I mean, seriously..my step-brother(David) is 21...and to be quite blunt I don't care to even talk to him that much, let alone influence him. It kinda pisses me off that my stepmom treats me like that, and tells my dad that my boyfriend and I can't be alone with my brother.

You think I'd be used to this kind of treatment but I'm not...it still shocks me. Like who does that. I don't even do anything bad.

I got hired to work at an Amazon warehouse, starting this Wednesday, and it's only 5 miles away from me. Suddenly, I don't mind all those distribution warehouses popping up in this rural area. There's also a good chance that I'll get full-time one of these days. After talking to a couple people, it seems like they tended to get hired full-time in about 4-5 months, so I'm going to assume that's about when I might get the offer.

My job this time is completely different than when I had a seasonal job at Amazon though. This time I'm stuck with Pallet Receive, which was really confusing the first day, but I think I understand the basics after today. It's definitely much more physically and mentally challenging than Picking, which is what I did during peak season during winter. If I'm still a twink after a few months, I'll be disappointed. =p

It's been...roughly two weeks since my older sis left for college. A bit lonely, yes, since it's just me and my mom and me now in a big freaking house. I swear, when I'm left alone, my paranoia skyrockets.

Anyways, today I was given the task of clearing old paperwork left by me and my sister, when I found a folder containing drawings from when we were kids (Dated 2001) and when us getting along was weird. (still is.) Anyways, I looked through all this and found myself crying my eyes out in the corner.
I miss her. *sigh*

Hate myself because not reading and preparing for entrance exam for degree level in one of public university in Malaysia.
I guess, using full English might be helpful for this round of entrance exam, because this round of exam basically revolves around English language, but in academic form.

Tomorrow, Saturday, 20th July. 8am GMT +8 (19th July, 5pm PDT)

Entrance exam (English Language round)

8 am - 9 am (Listening)
9.30 am - 10.30 am (Comprehension and reading)
11 am - 1 pm (Writing - Academic writing for degree level)

and... one week later...

27th July, (Visual art round)
8 am - 9.30 am (Art History) - essay.
10 am - 1 pm (Digital painting - free media (you can use your preferred software for digital art like photoshop, illustrator, SAI, Coral Painter))
2 pm - 5.30 pm (Traditional art - free media (either watercolour painting, markers, pencil / pen, or charcoal))

... from there... I will know where I belong to : Illustration or Fine art (either majoring in painting, digital painting or visual culture studies)

Hope that I can pass these entrance exam....

For today... I'm always alone, doing digital painting, just for killing time... or perhaps... time to jump into Maple?

Spent my childhood being the mature adult and now I just wanna be a god damned kid.

Finally got a new laptop charger, after like a month and a half? Got my apartment assignment for SA, fixing up last little financial aid worries for college, really starting to seal the deal here ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Back from entrance exam. The questions are difficult for me, especially academic writing. Others, just a bit tough, but managed to answer all questions.

Today, I rekindled a lost friendship from over three years ago. My friend is doing okay, and I got to chat with a friend from two years back who used to harass me.. and the friend hasn't changed much, but I've missed them. Hooray. ._.

I hate Bank of America. So. Much.

Basically, I get charged a $12 maintenance fee per month if I don't have a daily average balance of $1,500 or more or if I don't deposit $250 a month. Well, I met the daily average balance.

I still got charged their BS fee because "Sorry, man. You need to have had the $1,500 starting from this day to that day. All the way through, not at any point in a billing statement."

And the billing statement began on 6/11. I deposited enough for $1500 on 6/19. Fuq life.


I hate dealing with banks. In general.

Swear I posted this, but f`uck it. Got a 770 GTX for 450 and a 27 inch 120 hrtz monitor for 300 yesterday, the monitor was cheap because it was open box (most likely a display). It was asus so I hopped on it. I use a gtx 460 so this will be a pretty huge upgrade for me
