My old wind Archer on the left without gear.
And my new wind archer on the right (Only wearing a tempest overall).

So as I'm looking at the picture. I notice I put points into STR cause second stat still meant something back when KoC got released

But the other guy still has way more base Dex then my new WA...
I got the feeling the image is editing ._.

Your base str = 104. His = 4. There is also a 100 difference between you and his base Dex.

I don't see the problem?...

I'm pretty sure the other guys accuracy doesn't add up correctly.

His Magic accuracy and weapon accuracy bonuses should be the same, I believe. from looking at his magic accuracy (luk*1.2 +int + bonus) we see that his bonus should be ~870.

But his weapon accuracy (dex*1.2 + luk + bonus) doesn't add up then, it should be about 2300, not the 2017 it shows in his picture.

Maybe some buffs don't affect the magic acc though, I don't have a WA to check.

Endgaming them, should you aim for 15 atk each?

No, I'm not going to make this my end game set, just looking for something decent atm. So far I've managed a 9atk 9 slot overall and a 6 atk, 4 slot shoe....

Hi, I need advice, if you would please.

I'm Level 165 (Bowmaster) in El Nido, and truthfully my damage sucks since I haven't updated my gear in pretty much a year or more.
I don't even have a badge or Android or shoulders or any of that new junk that's out. Totems or w/e too.

My equips are standard, El Nido Bandana + 3% DEX Overall/Shoes/Earrings + 8 Attack WGs + Clean Blackfist
I have a Dual Blade Mask. And my bow is okay, enough to holdoff upgrading until I upgrade my other stuff.

I just finished the Silent Crusade Card Set, giving me 15% pierce damage which is cool.
And I also bought that secondary weapon thing that gives you a few attack bonus.

Upgrade advice please? I'm not rich, but I do have lots of stuff to sell, which I will soon once I buy a shop

That Blackfist is a good start. Either pot or sell it.
Try to make a 2% dex top/bottom combo.
Get the Boat Quay Badge. Pot that and your secondary.
Crusade daily for the mystic set, a face and eye, maybe the others if you wanna.

Level 40 armor? there is a reason he said 2% and not 3%

For those with status effects, there's Ephinea (spin-spin thing, poison), Papu (but that's a status induce, not an attack), Zakum (thunder seal, yup), Griffey (if you can find one...), Grandpa (hurricane attack seals iirc), VL (Roar). Or your choice of RA boss.

Too many to count, but I don't know if you only want those whose damaging attacks have a status induce, or whether you want a boss WITH a status move.

Hit -> Concentration activated -> no Seal
Regular miss -> no Seal
Illusion Step miss (with the animation) -> no Seal
Hit -> Sealed

So yes, Illusion Step will now block attacks that inflict statuses I remember I always thought it was annoying that it had to be a regular miss to stop them before and IS's effect wouldn't block them.

Alright, that's good to hear. Yeah, that was annoying for classes with Dodge Rate skills, but for classes with only Evasion Rate like DB's, that was a huge advantage for them at a boss like Empress.

You only need 10 in Eagle to use Frostprey, so personally I would max Iron Arrow. I don't think it matters though quite honestly.

I personally whent with iron arrow because its still usable in some maps in 3rd job, or until you have more points inot your 3rd job attack. And once you get frostprey golden eagle is useless.

Eagle is useless once you get Frostprey, but IA becomes useless pretty fast, too. The only time I'll ever use IA is at Balrog on his two hands since it's a tiny bit better than using double shot.

I figured that was what I was going to do but wanted to make sure since I've never raised a bowman/crossbowman before.
