I expected this fortnight's perfect attendance reward to suck, though not this much.
I was mostly doing it for the coins, though.

Nexon is getting meaner and meaner. Not only are the scrolls pretty much worthless, but also 1-week expiry, and 100% boom. Even the chaos scroll was 50% boom. If it wasn't for getting the coins, it would be a total waste of time.

I thought the 50% unique pot was coming today, based on the event list in-game. Guess I'm going to miss that one. I have to learn to read patch notes more carefully.

THANKS NEXON FOR THE SHITTY ATTENDANCE REWARD. You know, I've never missed a single day of any attendance event, so I have to say this is the WORST.

Why are people complaining about this weeks' rewards? We've known for over a month they were going to be pomegranate.

I'm more upset that the scrolls expire. Means it's certain the unique pots and incred pos chaos are going to expire as well
(yes I know I've said this before blah blah nexon is finicky with expirations)

Not that it really matters since I can't farm them anyway with this monster lag.

Not sure if it's been mentioned or not yet but if you have level 30 hot time mules you can do the attendance really easily at the claw machine things in Kerning Square, I'm going to do it on 5-6 accounts (if I remember every day at least..) to unique pot all of my Root Abyss stuff, may as well take advantage of this as much as you can.

edit: nope @ below, you are not the sole source of information in MapleStory, as much as you may like to think you are.

This information was taken from myself and posted as a personal jab at me(like I keep it secret). BUT, to further the information here, the scrolls are movable within the account and you can farm the scrolls on each character within the account. Making xenon mules to level 20 to drop there is very quick and easy. Beyond that, the next season is incredible chaos scrolls of goodness that aren't typical pos. They are 60%, no-boom, and movable within the account. Be sure to use all the seasons to your advantage! I'll try to keep some up to date ideas I gather from the events on SP from now on so that Mike doesn't have to do it for me!

The anniversary and unleashed coin shops gave a really good opportunity to scroll decent to perfect equipment. Though, the leaves are in high demand, going for 20k-30k each in Windia. They'll probably inflate even more until the coin shop poofs. The occult cubes from the attendance events would give you a chance to at least get relevant and useable potential stats on it as well.

This spinner wheel event is pretty nice. I know... combined with gachapon and marvel wheel, it pretty much deflated every chair in the FM. But still, free random and permanent, but untradeable chairs. One particular chair that I like and gotten from is a rainy fox chair.

Anyway, the patch has its ups and downs. Bugs/glitches (especially closing down RA for me) is probably one of the big ones that made the patch pretty disappointing. Of course as it has already been mentioned, Xenon is pretty OP at the moment. His books are still pricey in the FM and it seems a large amount of people are looking to main it, at least in Windia. Think we can pretty much expect a lot of rage threads regarding their nerfs later on whenever that hits?

Unfortunately all of my mules are 100-130, but im going to try to famr as many iCoG and Unique pot scrolls for my RA stuff too.

If you have two computers, consider using one of your higher level characters to clear the map quicker, preferably one with a anchorable summon. I decided to test this out with a Kanna thinking Kishin might be of some use; it was, in a sense. The entire 300 was cleared in no more than five minutes, I'd guess high threes if you really tried, I was wandering to determine the best map, so I don't really have the time. Unfortunately Kishin itself is too tall to hit the Mini-Yetis, so I'm not sure how useful it was in the end, but I guess spawning helps.

I'll probably test doubling up and doing two mules at a time later, using a low-leveled mule to kill, but I don't suspect it will be particularly faster if the mule isn't strong or multi-target oriented. The total time, including that used to move around Evo Rings, etc. is probably equivalent to the time using the first method, twice.

Ion Thrust would probably be the ideal skill for a double mule killing, but I don't have a bunch of Xenon so the first method should be satisfactory, more results later, I suppose.

Aside from the fact I was busy the past couple weeks, I had no intention of doing the Season 2 attendance. The iCoGs and Unique Pots do in fact have an expiration date, but that's sorta to be expected since you can get one on every character and not just by account.

I'm planning on getting enough iCoGs to finish my Raccoon Mask and the hammer slots on my rings and face accessory, and since all I'm really doing is waiting around for Wind Archers to come out I can finally put the time to good use. I also like that they are at least tradable within the account so I can move them over to my WA for things that are untradable like the rings & face accessory.

don't forget to party your friends, some people i know are partying together and having one of them on their main while the others leech the kills, and then they switch the main.

I'm doing it with [MENTION=2861]Patt[/MENTION]; right now, on my Cannoneer it takes less than 2 minutes to get all 300 kills at the claw machines, he's logged in on 4 characters and I'm on 1 (+ attacker) so we have a full party xD

Wow you still have hair to pull out? I lost most of mine over the first phase of the Absolute Ring event, and that was just 2 characters.
