It was a sarcasm... Nexon make some glitches that looks or are intentional... meh, nobody will get the Absolute Ring

Since all it takes are 31 stamps, I wonder if you can save your tradeable 2013 Evolving Rings +11 and just use tradeable 2013 Evolving Rings +1 on a character with 31 stamps?

This event is so stupid; it baffles me. Why give an extra day at all if you can't upgrade the ring today without getting a new one? I missed one day because of a city-wide blackout, and now I can't have a +11 on the 2013 Evolving Ring I.

I'm so glad i decided to completely ignore this event. Totally don't need that kind of frustration right now when you have incredigoodness and unique pots to get as well.

Gaga doesn't say anything about the rings having to be maxed to be combined. Or their number of upgrades having to match the number of stamps you have.
In fact, if they needed to be maxed, you'd have to have 33 stamps.
Why do the patch notes say 31-33, then?

...for a second there, I was gonna explain what I meant. But then I realize I was trying to comprehend Nexon logic, and that never goes well.

Still, if we assume that every time we upgrade and get a stamp afterwards, and that we need at least 31 stamps, then that means we can afford to miss 2 days and still get the Absolute Ring. At least in that sense, we have some leeway.

But you are right in what Gaga doesn't mention, and how the state of the rings themselves factor in getting the Absolute Ring... all except that Gaga said that "he'd take the rings and combine them."

And even if we managed to get an explanation, it won't change anything. I mean... is it that hard to just ensure that the 11th upgrade would make the ring tradable, and not by what we have at the end of that portion of the event? Stupid.

The logic that would have worked should be:

Days 1-11: Upgrade ring.
If day 11 stamp makes ring +11, then make ring tradable; else do not make ring tradable.
Day 12: Upgrade or no upgrade.
If on day 12 ring is already +11, then provide no upgrades; else upgrade and make ring tradable.

Is this damn hard to do on any script? Now I don't want to know what Nexon will do to clean this up, if they will in the first place. But IF the stamp thing works, and "combining the rings" mean removing Rings I, II and III, it *might* just be possible to keep the +10 ring in storage and let them delete the rest of the crappy +1 ring?

I'm going for the Absolute Ring anyways, just because I play a large number of characters and thus would like having a 4th tradable ring. With any luck, I won't miss a day.

On the bright side, imagine how happy Girasol must be she doesn't have to do anything for this bullshit event. She stated how much she hated the attendance events; this is tenfold worse.

1. How do I claim the medal for getting the first ring done? Do I have wait until Phase 1 ends tomorrow, or is Gaga just being dumb?
2. I have the fully upgraded ring I. Is it just there, or do I have to get all 3 tradeable rings and combine them into the absolute ring? Or do I get the absolute ring based on the number of completed days I have, so I end up with 3 evo rings and an absolute ring?

The entire idea behind events like these is awful. I don't even care if there's some sort of leniency to these. Even if it's something like, "You missed 3 days here have a reward anyways!" it's still stupid how there's an entire event based around getting online, killing 300 monsters, and logging back offline of OR afking. I tried to participate in this event, maybe it would be the first evolving ring event I'd finish. Well at this rate probably not with all these bugs and me already missing like 4 days due to internet outages. I didn't even try to do the attendance event.

1. You have to wait until August 19, the "rewards phase" to get your medal.
2. The event description says the three rings are combined to make the Absolute ring. We understand this to mean you have to have three rings and they will be consumed to make the Absolute Ring. But Nexon has been illogical and inconsistent in this event already, so it's hard to be sure anymore.

If you ask "make my ring tradeable" on day 45, do you mean ring I or ring II?

I think the simplest way would be to keep all rings untradeable until the "reward phase" (August 19 - Sep 2). When you talk to Gaga then, your rings are either consumed to make the Absolute Ring, or made tradeable with whatever stats you managed to get on them. That way these abuse plans people are hatching (of giving gaga +1 rings instead of the +10 or +11) would also be nipped in the bud.

PSA for those still doing this event: mark your calendars for July 24 to start the second ring.

There will be no in-game reminder (such as an event-quest star or lightbulb or w/e on the left side of the screen), plus it will probably be patch day for Demon Avenger (so many hours of servers offline, followed by excitement and bugs and possibly more downtime). And since we know the 12th day isn't really a make-up day... make sure you'll remember and start your ring(s) on time.

Too bad they won't do it on Tuesday night again like Xenon patch. Assuming that was only done off schedule from their typical Wednesday night because Thursday was a holiday. I foresee possible free stamp + upgrade for the first date if the patch has too many bugs and lasts longer than expected (as to be expected).
