Has the Mob Equip slot ever been used for anything?

In the character window, I mean. In my years of playing I've never come across an item in GMS that fits there.
Are there any items in any incarnation of Maple Story that have gone into that slot? What have they done?

The saddle for adventurer mounts goes there.

Hogs, Draco, Hyenas, etc.
Which IIRC, later get turned into skills like the rest of the mounts.

They could use that valuable space for totems. =)

No it doesn't.
Saddles go in the Saddle slot.

All of those go in the taming mob slot.

I mean this slot that I have highlited; the slot that is occupied neither by a mount nor by a saddle

For the record I have no idea what Mob HP and MP were intended to do either.

Just googled, old threads don't have answers. So it probably has/had no use.

Do you mean Soul Weapons or an extension of the current Monster Book/Familiar system?

I seriously doubt that is the slots intended use, especially since the slot has been there since like before Big Bang.
