KMST 1.2.482 Zero
Spadow; Can Zero equip either male or female equips? I know they can equip separate CS items, but what about regular gear?

IcyHaze Wrote:Sadly players are motivated by damage and damage only, especially during boss run. There is no way to perfectly balance unless it is fully identical. So in the end players will always figure out what is the best distribution when given a choice, with or without constraints.

I mean just take a look at how aran/DS adapt their boss playstyle as nexon changes how their resource points are being used. If tempest dmg is better then saving your combo count, aran will just spam it. If combo count give better dps, then tempest is hardly being used.

In the end, zero will end up being played like WHY old i/l will throw in GC in between CL spam. Switch in is only necessary when it increases your dps.

Zero can be a great job, it just needs some tweaks. In my opinion they need to get rid of the in-combat tag system as it is right now. Instead they should have created a regular amount of skills as they do with normal jobs (there are just too many right now), split them between both Alpha and Beta. Then the way to play with them would be pressing an Alpha skill to get him to step forward and attack and press a Beta skill to get her to step forward and attack so that way you're quickly pressing keys for both Alpha and Beta skills' and have them attack one after the other continuously. (I hope I explained that clearly).

For what I get about it right now, you control one, either Alpha or Beta, and you switch between both pressing the tag skills or pressing the skill of that you wanna play with but there's a 3 second cooldown, and while you are controling one, the second one is in automatic mode attacking when you do.

Edit: Now that I think about it, they just need to get rid of the cooldown on the the tag whne you're using skills and balance them both so that they both are equally good at bossing and grinding. Can't be easier to fix in my opinion.

Zero cannot equip female equipment.

Oh, I found out that Alpha and Beta have different damage ranges.

It's probably because their individual weapons have different multipliers.

Could be. But the first obvious thing that came to mind was that mastery give different WA bonus. At max it is +40wa vs +15wa. Also almost all the individual passive boost alpha with beta having the dmg absorb barrier unique to her. So in a sense alpha has the edge in dps wise, not factoring in attack skills.

Zero is still a great job even as it is now. I am just being objective about how players will simply stick to the best dps route when presented with choices. This is also something nexon has been trying to remedy as seen with magnus/root abyss. Until there is reason to execute skills depending on circumstances like console game, we will be stuck with a single build. The dps build. Nexon can tweak the values, but that just means we will follow the new chain of skills that give the best dps.

Fooling around and experiencing fully the system of zero will be reserved to hunting noob event mob where you be OHKO no matter what you do.

PS:From some other post, it seems the "tag" skills doesn't require input and switch is automatic when you hit the skills of the other partner.

So here's what a groupmate of mine thought of Zero.

Spadow; If im understanding correctly, Zero is stuck in the mirror world till lv180 correct? Or is it possible to finish all 8 chapters before? IF Zero is stuck there till 180, it might level the playing field a bit between funded and unfunded, at least till 180, and make for an interesting race to 200.

It is not possible to finish all chapters before reaching level 180. Because each part in every chapter requires you to be a different level to start.
For example: Chapter 3 starts at Lv. 120. Then part 2 of chapter 3 requires you to be Lv. 122, part 3 Lv. 124, part 4 Lv. 126 and the last part requires you to be Lv. 128. Then you need to grind your way to 130 to begin with Chapter 4.

Here's a video of a Lv. 175 Zero.

So until what level or part of the storyline is Zero stuck in the Mirror World?

As Spadow already said repeatately, Zero cannot gain exp from normal Maple World mobs till they finish chapter 8 (or start?), which (afaik) starts at lv 180.

They are however in no way stuck in the Mirror World, they can always go out and roam in the normal Maple World. However, they cannot gain exp or drops from monsters.

Well , both are the best BGM then. CWKPQ because its epicness and Mirror Time Temple to being solemn and peaceful.

The Mirror Time Temple gave me a feel that the game is gonna reaching to its end in some few time... No, the server won't close, but the first story is reaching to an end...

i think when they mean only this summer(the class being released) it may be released not in the other summers but in the middle of them, so it won't be bad for the game

I finally found a 70% potential scroll and used it. Gave both of my weapons the same potential effect.
Since I have potential now, it allows me to use the ''Change Potential'' button. It cost 400k meso and 1800 WP.

I used it and it changed my potential of course. It gave me the same potential effect on both weapons. I think it is safe to say that when you're going to cube these two weapons of Zero, it will both have the same effect.

Question:

Can you give a different IGN each to Alpha and Beta or does it show like, Example: "FangBlade Alpha / FangBlade Beta"?

No. You just stick to one name. If you decide to tag Beta, then Alpha will attack but there's no name underneath the character.
I'm glad I have the opportunity to try out Zero. I was planning to make this character my main character, but I don't know it now... All the way up to Lv. 180.
Zero is definitely a good choice if you're unfunded and you like combos and chaining skills together.

I have a high leveled Evan character and Evans are pretty sweet. Glitter

Can he equip male equipment? If so, that's complete bullcrap.

What about Grandis?

I got a question, it's not totally related to Zero but: With the new cubes' changes, when you cube an item with the new RED/BLACK cubes, the Artisian/Master ones or the ones that you can buy with weapon points, do you also cube the additional potential? or are still there additional potential cubes?.

This hourglass randomly appears in Mirror World dungeons. It gives you buffs. In this run I got a buff that increases your chances to find Epic equipment by 50% in the dungeon for 2 minutes.
In another run I got a x2 item drop buff for 2 minutes.

I will soon make a video about Zero using both Alpha and Beta's attack. As I progress to a higher level and acquire new skills, I find Zero more and more fun. Because of Alpha and Beta chained attacks.
The new colored damage numbers only appear when Alpha or Beta (depending which one you're using) is automatically attacking.

I double checked today. If you want to acquire EXP from Maple World monsters, you need to complete all eight chapters. Monocle

I saw in a video that the skills change when you press them so you don't have to have as many skill on keys. Is is it like Xenon in that 1 skill is actually multiple skills, sans the mode change, or do the skills just auto link and require you to just have certain skills on a button?

Also is the switching automatic when you press a skill for the other Zero ? Or do you press tag each time you want to switch?

I'll probably make one myself and get it up there. Well that is if NXoA doesn't pineapple-up the story like the bull pomegranate they tried to pull w/ Lumi. And Aran.
