Girasol Has Withdrawn

Knew something was up when I saw Girasol's signature..
Let me say my piece.
Even though I don't play in GMS, I have seen her posts on SP and NexonNA forums, and I can say, NexonNA will regret letting Girasol go.

Here's hoping that [MENTION=10355]Girasol[/MENTION]; succedes in whatever she may set out for.

I was just starting to like Nexon because of her, but you know what? Everytime it seems something is going for the better, it all collapses sooner than you know it. ;(

And, If I find out she was fired, I'm requesting a raid to their office, with pomegrenades.

Girasol, thank you for all your hard work in keeping the community up to date and informed! You exuded charisma, and your amiable discourses with us common people really helped Nexon seem less like a faceless corporation intent on taking our money and more like a group of people running a game that we (some of us, at least) enjoy playing.

You gave me optimism for the future of Maplestory, and you restored some of my confidence in the GMs of the game.
Plus, you had a great sense of humor!

I wish you the best in all your future endeavors, where ever you find yourself! Hopefully you'll find a company that deserves the fantastic work that you deliver.

Aaaand suddenly we are thrown back into the dark regarding Nexon's activities.

Nexon has been improving in leaps and bounds recently, and Girasol was a large part of that. She gave us insight into the game, into events, she was helpful, informative and helped solve our problems. and in her short time here she unbanned accounts, helped to make gachapon and Marvel Machine worthwhile, and generally made us feel better the direction Nexon and Maplestory itself was going.

I'm expecting Nexon to slide back after this, and that makes me really sad, I really hope that they continue what Girasol started with whoever they hire next, but I doubt it.

Good luck with everything Girasol, you will be missed not just for your helpfulness regarding the game, but you were also fun and great to talk to.

Girasol was surely a new light in nexon's darkness,and as a sunflower,she spread the light at all of us.
i'm sure it wont be the same without her,no more answers or information from nexon,talking to them like now its like talking to a robot instead of humans.
well, i guess girasol understood the part of independence in the independence day and ran away from nexon.
im pretty sure all of southperry and nexon's forums will miss her as nobody hated her

Today departs a good professional. One that cared for its costumers. I hope she ends up reading this, because I can assure all these comments aren't just empty words. She did a very good job at Nexon, for real. For example, when she quit, she sent a PM to Eos, telling him that she was PMing with me about an issue, so that he could tell me. It was THAT sudden. 11 hours before receiving Eos' PM, she was still trying to figure out a problem I had, and now the devs are still looking into it without her, apparently. That is professionalism.

The community WILL miss you. I can be sure of that.

Well, looking on the bright side, she can now have a bit of a break from endless waves of mentions here.

I find it weird how Hime(who left like arround a month or two? im not really sure) has still a Nexon badge at official forums, yet Girasol lost her one almost instantly. There is definitely something fishy.

This is so sad to hear, she was such a wonderful GM! I wish her the best in whatever other work she finds and hope she's as much of a gem in that one. :c

Aand now GM's will once again be known in my mind as those dark shadowy people who close tickets with copy paste replies.

You will surely be missed. I hope that whoever Nexon hires next will bee aas good as you were.

This definitely sounds like NexonNA had a part in her leave, whether they forced her out or her reasons were compelled by the environment of the place.

Either way, she was one of the best employees they had that communicated well with the MapleStory community... something NexonNA should learn by her. She will be sorely missed. I hope she still gets to see us sometime in her true form.

Girasol: I have loathed Nexon for years, and as silly as it sounds, the only reason I came back to playing Maple casually is because you gave me hope for the company. Now that you're gone, I feel like I have no more attachment to this game. I don't think I have the words to describe how much of an impact you have made in the Maple community and how awesome you have been. Thank goodness for all the well-spoken people here who can, because you so deserve to know how great you are.

If you see this, I hope you continue to be part of the maplestory community at least. I believe I read that this is your "personal account" so the company had no control over it, etc. I really enjoyed reading your posts, and if you continue to have stuff to say, I would continue to enjoy reading.
