[Complete] Scheduled Server Maintenance - June 26, 2013

"Back end modifications" and all the other minor bugs they're fixing would've taken them 4-6 hours easily.
I just feel like the transfers weren't something that they needed to get done right away. They could have waited a week or two, plus it would've given people more time to figure out what they wanted to do with their transfer, assuming they had decided to extend the event along with it. When World Transfers were in the Cash Shop you'd sometimes have to wait more than a month before they'd transfer your character.

I normally wouldn't mind a long maintenance if it means they'll get their pomegranate together and get it done right but now it's cutting into my 2x drop card, and since that's really the only time I actively do things in game, I'm a little annoyed.

See, I believe they moved transfers up to this maintenance because there was some outcry from the community that they wanted them done before the release of Xenon. They still needed to do this maintenance, so it makes sense to combine them.

No they couldn't. Any account that bought a world transfer wouldn't be able to make a Xenon, which would cause a big, big outcry.

How would they not be able to make a Xenon? I see nothing in the restrictions about you being unable to create a character.
I highly doubt anyone that's racing to 200/250 on a Xenon even considered transferring out anyway.

Just because you see no restrictions doesn't mean there aren't any.
Tried making a few link skill mules on a separate account last night, and it explicitly told me I couldn't because of the world transfer request.

2 reasons -

1) Some people are transferring characters out of one server to make ROOM in their main server to hold a new Xenon.
2) More importantly - You are not allowed to create a new character ANYWHERE if you have a world transfer in progress. This means a whoel lot of people would miss out on day 1 for Xenon because they are waiting for the transfer maintenance.

Ouch, when I posted, the Monster Life was going green, I got a little excited since that was the first sign of life in hours. xP Now it's 12 minutes until 3pm pst and it's all red again. T-T
