I think it's because they had some event(?) that allowed people to get them who were not 200/120, in the form of skills instead of monster-riding mounts.

For those wondering about quad/triple throw animation changes, they reverted the triple throw animation to what it used to be. This gave me hope for what they were going to do for quad throw, but then...:/

They did, but I doubt KMS will copy and paste from JMS when they are doing this change to every mount that orginated in the korean version and not just those 3 that can fly in JMS.
JMS did also change the level of at least the Red Draco to 160(?), which I doubt KMS are doing.

At least it does not look as stupid and awkward. Would have been nice if the player could have stood still while throwing a few salvos. Hard to get the feeling for it when it is all over the place jumping.
Or is the character actually autpo jumping while throwing? O-o

Seems like they didn't really do anything to NL's TT/QT based on the video Proxied posted..

Triple throw uses its old animation while retaining the hit delays from Justice (A A A B B B instead of A B C D E F)

Quadruple throw seemed like nothing change other than an auto jump animation when you cast QT, and retains the hit delays from Justice as well.

You're right, it's not as stupid or awkward as it is currently, but it seems slowed down and gives a feel of GMS's current triple throw. Idk I'm not feeling it. I hope they change it again lol. Yes it's auto jumping.

Why can't they just let our stick with our god damn simplicity and carry over the reverted triple throw animation to quad throw?

Imo, I think it looks better this way. When I look at it, it has this 'dynamic' feel to it. But to each his own, I suppose.

Triple throw is indeed almost like how it used to be, although the shadow partner hits still annoy me when I look at it.
They should have done the same to quad throw because it would have looked better than what it looks like right now in that video.

The jumping feels a tad weird... but on the other hand, I do like it more compared to our current quad throw.

Better in comparison to what? If you mean our current quad throw I completely agree with you. If you mean better than the old smooth triple throw animation I don't think I can agree with that :p

Yeah. I do like it better animation wise because it doesn't look like we're spazzing out anymore, but they slowed it down quite a bit hahaha and definitely should have just done what they did to quad throw

I have trouble with seeing if it is slower probably because I never really play my NL.
But to me it looked like the stars itself are thrown faster making the entire animation look slower.

Not sure how to explain it.

The pirate/thief revamps have indeed been lacking in comparison so dual blades/cannoneers may see a similar result

There's a connection cap which makes it seem a lot slower. You can see somewhat of a constant stream of them casting it in this video here:

(quad throwing starts at like 20 seconds in)

quad star now almost completely overlaps the current damage as you throw stars, whereas in the video there's a clear gap. It almost fades away entirely before the next set of stars reach the target.
