I like number 3 a little more than number 1.

These are the kind of cakes I couldn't eat. All of them are good, but overall I do like the third one more than the first as well, it's adorable and represents an actual location in the game.

I definitely like the third one better than the second one, but the I think the first one wins on craftsmanship.

3 > 2 > 1, imo, but all of the entries are really cute. :3

Here's a thread on the first winner. Apparently, it's made of wedding cake dough covered in fondant and the dolls are made of icing sugar dough.

#1 is definitely my favorite. 3 and 2 are on the same level to me.

Is it even possible to get that warrior's armor in Maple?

I wonder if #1 paid someone to do that. That looks WAY too professional (coming from someone who does this as a side job). Interesting choice for #2. I thought 3 was much better than 2 by far.

Fondant is really difficult to work with sometimes (dries out). I'm going with either they purchased it or they do this for a living.

Yeah, I'm going with purchasing. Because to be honest, I've been doing cakes for a year + now and I can't do that. I've taken over 10+ classes for fondant. If a kid did that, I'm sure it had to be bought.

Bought or not, it was still created by SOMEONE and that someone did frickin' fine job.

Still though, when you think about how much a custom cake like that would cost, not sure they broke even with these prizes. But that's the penalty for cheating, at least their name is recognized for an idea they came up with I suppose.

I'm not sure why you're assuming it was a kid... but regardless, it looks amazing. The Pink Bean one would have looked a little better if the floor (top of the cake whatever I don't know) had more texture, but damn I'm impressed. @_@

I agree with [MENTION=5813]Thorr[/MENTION], it is a pretty good design.
