GMS Unleashed - bugs and problems
Andddd my Kanna is now screwed.

Whenever I hovered over Haku's fan, it would show the Bit i currently I had equipped, which I thought was really weird.

Later, I unequipped Haku's fan so i could use a heatwave stamp on it, it unequipped the fan fine, but it ALSO unequipped my bit which is now in my equip inventory rather than my Bit inventory... and I can't re-equip Haku's fan. I try and equip it and nothing happens, meaning that i'm not only missing the 30% range from Kasen and the 25% boss damage from Bellflower Barrier, but i'm now also missing 70k range from Haku's blessing AND the potential stats on my fan.

being a Kanna is suffering.

EDIT: I also can't equip bits now either, whenever I try they simply disappear from my inventory and reappear when I open it again.

I'm a Kanna, so these bugs won't even be looked at. fantastic.

I'm going to finish this weeks attendance events on my Kanna and then not touch it again after Xenon is released. Not until it's bugs are fixed and it gets hypers. Getting absolutely sick of being screwed around without even an acknowledgement.

Pink bean additional entry coupons do not work properly.
Clicking one gives you the notice "You may enter PB (1/2/3/4/5) extra times today" but the coupon is not used and no ticket is given to bypass the portal that requires a marble of chaos

in addition to this i bought two horntail entry coupons, and they do NOT reduce in amount clicking on them, effectively making infinite bypasses to the cave.

i've clicked on one three times and they give me passes to the cave but have stayed at 2 ever since i bought them.

Razmos; Try going into a Azwan PQ and equipping your fan in there. I don't know if Haku's equip box works the same as an android's (I assume it would), but that's how I fixed not being able to equip any NX on my android. They really screwed up the UI in this patch...

How many gems do you have and how many have you spent? Does it add up to more than the 7 from the hot time box?

I have 8 and i've never spent any

Looks like you're right, the daily boxes do give gems after all.
I wonder how rare the gems are.

Quote:Monster Life

Monster Life is a new game within MapleStory. In Monster Life you will be able to build your own monster farm and populate it with numerous memorable monsters from MapleStory. Monster Life is a great new way to socialize with your fellow Maplers and to earn some nice stat boosts in regular MapleStory.

Every player will be given 1 farm per account. Your farm will be shared between all characters and worlds on the account. The farm cannot be deleted when created. You can access your farm by clicking the ‘MENU’ button and selecting ‘VISIT FARM’.

Monster Life will introduce 2 new currencies to be used within it: gems and waru.

Gems can be bought with NX in the cash shop or if you're lucky, obtained from a Lucky Box that you can obtain once a day.
Waru can be obtained from a large number of ways such as harvesting them from your buildings, playing and nurturing monsters, adding new friends, Lucky Box, and more!
Most items in the Monster Life shop can be bought with Waru or Gems, but buying with Gems will allow you to obtain most things at the shop at a lower farm level.

Just a little tip i guess, if you have a glitched fafnir item that doesn't have the pdr or boss on it. If you innocence it the item will gain the boss and pdr bonus

I'm not entirely sure but either the avoid formula or the avoid chance for DB's seems to be broken. Even with the normal avoid formula and 70% avoid chance i shouldnt be getting hit constantly by monsters even if they are my level.

I went from never getting hit by HoH mobs and most attacks from anything 170+ that wasn't/isn't a %hp attack to getting hit by everything all the time. I literally have no survivability and for all the dual blades that merch/merched to get where they are its pretty hard to do anything seeing as the damage everything does went up so its pretty easy to get 2 hit koed.

Well my db @184 has 5k in both avoid stats as well but my phantom @ lv 120 w/ 2k avoid in both stats has never gotten hit by normal mode Hilla once in 3 30 min failed runs compared to the db getting hit 10+ times in one successful 5 min run and approximately the same for its second and third run.

Is it just me or did all mobs damage go up by like 50%?

The chance of avoiding enemy attacks is now capped at 90%. All of DB's avoidability skills manipulate this avoid chance rather than giving you like dodge or something, so DBs get hit pretty hard by that.

Orange Mushroom's blog did indicate that mobs above level 160 were buffed, I assume this includes their accuracy stat as my Phantom has 6.6k avoid and gets hit pretty often these days. As an additional note, there's an avoid cap of 90% now no matter how high your Avoid stat is, which may partially explain why you're getting hit more often now.

I think the point is that they'd rather keep the high base attack and wait for a fix, rather than innocence it down.

I am well aware of this but the only thing that is off putting is the fact that I went into Hard Hilla and HoH w/ my two buddies a Phantom and DB w/ max avoid and the phantom never got hit and the only reason the DB didn't die was because of potion pot.

and @iAmFear

Side Step 10: Dodge Chance +15%
Shadow Meld 20: Dodge Chance: 30%, Upon successful dodge,ATK +15 and all attacks performed afterwards will be Critical Hits for 1 sec
Final Cut 30: Active Effects - MP -135, Dummy HP: 20000, Dummy Duration: 90 seconds, Damage Absorbed: 20%. Passive Effects - Dodge Chance: 25%, DEF +60%, M.DEF +60%
Dual Wield Expert 30: Dagger and Katara Mastery: +70%, ATK +30, ACC +15%, Avoid +15%

Passive 70% Avoid/Dodge Chance and only 15% Avoid. This only means Phantom should cap out on the avoid stat earlier than us because they have :

Dexterous Training 1: DEX +40, Avoid +20%, Diligence Lv. 20, Insight Lv. 20
Feather Foot 10: Base Avoid +20%
Mist Mask 10: Additional Avoid Chance: 30%
Carte Noir 20: Upon a successful critical attack, card appears at 100% chance, Damage: 200%, Deck +1. Additional Avoid Chance +20%

50% Avoid/Dodge Chance and 40% Avoid. So yes at the same level unfunded I'd expect the Phantom to get hit less because of the higher % avoid but both of them having around 4.5k luk and max avoid this to me says something is off.

I think some of our Avoid/Dodge Chance is being treated as nothing at all. I used to die a lot before fourth job(like a year and a half ago) even with Shadow Meld, which was understandable because even with 45% chance to dodge 1.5k avoid wasn't enough yet now those same 120 monsters and things that couldn't hit me mere days ago can hit everything I have other than my 120 phantom with about the same consistency.

I still can usually move around w/o too much difficulty but it also seems that mobs can hit through FA's iframes, which wouldn't be an issue, if we weren't getting two shotted.

Actually, DB's would cap out on their total Evasion Rate first before Phantoms.

Sidestep, Shadow Meld, and Mirrored Target (you put Final Cut, lol) all give 70% Evasion Rate in total that manipulates your chance to evade enemies via 'Miss/Guard' animation. The descriptions are incorrectly mistranslated, and Dodge Rate skills typically show their own special animation. Dodge Rate skills also work on a percentage, but it's a flat chance to proc, and isn't affected by the enemy's level, and Accuracy. Both Evasion Rate and Dodge Rate aren't shown in the character stat window. Dual Wield Expert gives 15% Avoidability, which is a 1.15x multiplier off your Avoid stat. It's meaningless when you have 9999 Avoid.

Phantoms would have 40% Evasion Rate (Dexterous Training & Feather Foot), and 50% Dodge Rate (Mist Mask & Carte Noir). Since they have a 40% chance to manipulate their total Evasion Rate, they don't hit the 90% hard cap as early as DB's. With their Dodge Rate however, that means they would only be hit 50% of the time, which is further reduced by their Evasion Rate.
