Wow. So the players who took advantage of it last summer profit while everyone else suffers? Guess I have even less of a reason to buy nx now. Temporary stuff isn't worth it AT ALL.

Yup. I keep beating myself up for not having had the foresight to create my Kanna last summer. Oh, wait...

Should have predicted they'd raise the level cap at some point, though, and gotten the perma Safety Charm for my Hero that was already 200.

Three less reasons to buy NX, I can survive without them.

What kind of trouble if you don't mind me asking? You guys would make a killing if they were able to be sold again.

At first I was like, oh I should buy nx for a perma safety charm to get to 250 for the next 7 years, then I was like, never mind. -_-

If they release the perma hyper rock and pendant slot in a week or two, the people who bought the 90-day versions will be very very angry. Basically, the release of the 90-day versions now guarantees we won't see the perma ones for at least two months. Probably more, because Nexon will want to see whether these 90-day things will get people addicted enough to buy the 30-day outrageously priced ones afterwards.

I wish I could say I hope Girasol can do here what she (and Waltzing) did for Gachapon with the removal of potions and other trash from it, but it's different. Everything that Gachapon spits out is game items, that cost Nexon absolutely nothing to "create". But if a character has a perma hyper rock, that character will never need a temp hyper rock bought for it again, which appears to be money Nexon is losing.

Personally I believe the permanent items can make a profit for Nexon, because people would buy them who wouldn't buy the temp ones (I myself bought perma rocks for 3 characters I never would have bought temp rocks for, and I know other people who did this). Plus, what with the continuous stream of new classes with separate cash shop inventories, people will always need to re-buy "permanent" stuff.

No problem, they should just enable cash shop account sharing for all characters for all temporary nx, then make all permanent nx character specific by not allowing it to be moved back into the cash shop once it is moved out. Then if people buy temporary nx and a new class comes out they can transfer it (and re-buy when it expires), if they buy permanent nx and a new class comes out they can re-buy it for that character.

Thanks for the heads up on what happened with Gachapon, I've been wondering why I see walls of solid blue (like suddenly everything was "rare").

I guess I am too used to Hime, who would occasionally post things that turned out to be incorrect, because either the team misinformed her or she didn't understand them.

Anyway, I guess my Kanna will have to keep using family tele and boats/planes/portals forever, and my Hero will buy the single-use Charms and likely have them expire unused. Ah well, that's, what, $40 or so that I save? Thanks, I guess.

Man. That permanent Safety Charm alone would've been useful for my Adventurers right about now. I'm glad I got the others.

Well I guess that's just another reason to not move to WA permanently since I was lucky enough to get the perm pendant slot on my BM.

It's very unlikely I'll ever have money to throw away on 30/90 day pendant slots. It's just not worth it.

Particularly for the pendant slot, the others are at least convenience items, but the pendant slot is mandatory if you want to compete with your damage, and I can't bring myself to buy it knowing it'll expire.

Looks like I'll never be getting a Hyper Rock. I'm kicking myself for not buying that thing last year. I don't want one that expires. That's just stupid. Glad I at least got the extra pendant slot.

After reading this thread I'm glad I bought the perm pendant slot and hyper rock last year. But that safety charm... gah please come back <3

Sorry, guys. As far as I know, perma Hyper Teleport Rocks, Add Pendant Slot and Safety Charms will not be approved for sale again. It was a one-off deal for last summer. =/

That seems so unfair though. Even if ya'll did get in trouble for doing it the fact that there are players out there that will always have a big advantage over everyone else is simply sickening.

at best the job-class thing that might come out, but yes, not being able to equip newer classes with a second perma slot? no thanks

the only non-perma things i buy are the stores and stuff like AP resets, i don't even buy wheels for god's sake.

Same here. I remember buying a perm charm / tele rock and thinking I had wasted my money and people were like "why would you need it" etc.
