Feedback Unleashed: Part IV - I am my hair
Alloy Wrote:Play for longer than 5 minutes the "challenging" content, and we'll talk then. If you spent hundreds of dollars, maybe you can clear it though!

try thousands of $$.
the math in nexon eyesSadevery character is x^2)
ridiculous HP+less damage done to them=better and higher difficulty=simply more time spent=x^4
more time spent+less time+less characters allowed to join=much better difficulty=x^8(x^4+x^2+x^2)
much better difficulty=optimal difficulty (x^8)
optimal difficulty=only the highest funded players who spend grands can participate=profit $$

Jamesie Wrote:Once. It's also just killing Krexel, no need for the key, unless by some freak coincidence one Krexel dropped three keys (because I have two in my invent atm).

I meant that you can kill Krexel twice a day, but the quest is naturally a once-a-day thing.

hadriel Wrote:The daily quest that involves killing Krexel for the Union Key. Actually, I don't know if the repeatable quest wants you to kill Krexel or get the Union Key, or both. But either ways it doesn't matter because Krexel is such an easy boss, provided you don't DC. I have like 5 Union Keys sitting in my inventory now.

Hadriel
Huh, I just completed it yesterday and it only required kill Krexel.
Anyway, someone please confirm whether that quest reseted after 12.00 a.m or after 24 hours.

Nearly all bosses are weaker than KMS(in some cases, halved) bosses save shadow empress.
Magnus' attacks and background animations seem to be overlaid (overlayed? overlapped? I don't know), not really sure how to explain it but here's some comparison screenshots of Magnus' forcefield:

and another screenshot of his green sword attack:

Looks like there's about 5 of them on top of each other, it's strange..

Oops.. wrong thread. brb

I still don't see why we can't have additional options, even if that is the case. They're not game-breaking, so what would be the harm in giving them to us?

I tried to enter twice and it said I could only enter once a day. :l

24-hours.
Zerard Wrote:I still don't see why we can't have additional options, even if that is the case. They're not game-breaking, so what would be the harm in giving them to us?

That's the least of the problems. The thing is we didn't get additional options, our damage was nerfed, potential is still almost impossible to change because cubes don't drop from monsters, bosses got buffed the hell out, and "party encouraged bosses" still don't have the new drop system where everyone has their splits.

They promised candyland and we got it filled with razors.

EDIT: Ah, I almost forgot. The stupid change about unlimited was also the scissor counts. That means that if your weapon got obsolete, and you don't have NX, you are better off NPCing it. Yes, exactly as it sounds. Impossible to fund yourself unless you use NX because each weapon upgrade is a sink. At least we didn't get THAT. But additional options without that could be fine.
Jamesie Wrote:I tried to enter twice and it said I could only enter once a day. :l

24-hours.

That's odd... how did I enter twice a day? I'll check later.

I did krexel twice yesterday, seemed fine to me

What was the perfect attendance reward again?

Zerard Wrote:I still don't see why we can't have additional options, even if that is the case. They're not game-breaking, so what would be the harm in giving them to us?

I wasn't even talking about additional options. But if you're going to talk to me about this topic for whatever reason...

I dont feel like making every one of my equips eventually fully untradeable including my fully tradeable top and bottom. What if my other characters need it? I just buy a new high %str top? or new high %w/e VIP pendant/weapon/earrings/w/e?
All this system does is encourage most of us to recreate our entire set we've worked so hard on for a long time, and regardless of our current funding, that is not something people scoff about. Nobody likes untradeable equipment unless they seriously dont like hackers. People especially don't like their equipment going fully untradeable when it was perfectly tradeable or PSoKable beforehand. If we dont follow this system we lose out. If we follow this system we have to spend copious amounts of money or mesos all over again. Its is an extreme inconvenience to everyone who has multiple characters to pass around equipment or trying to trade an AO'd item to someone else, giving it less value. Unless they remove scissor counts, additional options is an extremely distasteful system people should not want.
Edit: It also does not matter how "not gamebreaking" it is. There are many, many equips that can gain additional options. If we do not use them, we will accumulate a large loss in damage compared to everyone else. Everyone who works hard on the equips they have now are left behind.

Did my first week and got my dice, all untradeable crap no one want huzzah!

If you weren't talking about additional options or anything relevant to them, then why reply to my full post? Wanting to be right?

Then don't. No one would be forcing them on you, anyway. I think your focus is too much on other player's, which shouldn't even matter to begin with. I play the game to enjoy it, not to compete with others.
Zerard Wrote:If you weren't talking about additional options or anything relevant to them, then why reply to my post? Wanting to be right?
More like i was informing you? Does everything require an ulterior motive?

Zerard Wrote:Then don't. No one would be forcing them on you, anyway.
That's a really flimsy excuse. That doesn't even work in a perfect world.
The point is is that this system is harmful for anyone who has put extreme amounts of work into their equipment and/or passes them onto the their other characters or sells equipment frequently. There are also "boss" AO, that give better stats for whatever. That means people who want to be stronger would also need to change to specific equipment(or not). This system just makes everything harder and more complicated. This stress is only cushioned by supposed "free damage"
If you refuse to accept that this system does not work in many people's favor and many people will have to switch out their entire set in favor of this system. You're being extremely narrow minded. This system is helpful but the scissor system is a very harmful system to many players who trade equipment and regardless of whether it is "forced on us or not", we have to deal with it if we want to get better. It isnt a fair system by any means. All it does is hide greedy intent behind extra damage.
Zerard Wrote:I think your focus is too much on other player's, which shouldn't even matter to begin with. I play the game to enjoy it, not to compete with others.
That means you're being selfish, no? I would be upset if my friends were upset with this system. I dont like the scissor system. Why is it wrong to care for other players besides myself?
I also don't see how you can "enjoy" restricting your gears.

Bad news about all equipment then. Everything new will become obsolete unless you pay. Weapons, hats, overalls, everything. you know what's the result? The only way to get decent stuff is by paying (money) yourself. Because you won't find anything used. And if you do, bad news! You can't sell your old stuff to pay up. Because it is untradeable. That's a step backwards.
Jamesie Wrote:I tried to enter twice and it said I could only enter once a day. :l

Krexel is twice every 24 hours like Pap. You must've done something wrong, lol.
Bomber Wrote:More like i was informing you? Does everything require an ulterior motive?

Correcting me was not necessary, nor was the boss info the main point of my post. I can understand, though, if it were.

I don't see how adding additional options would be, at all, harmful. Last I checked... the vast majority of Maple is not funded. The gap between the rich the poor is currently a gaping chasm, to which many would want to fill- even if it were by an inch or two. In addition, you must consider that many player's gear consist of nontradable gear from the get-go (be it Empress, Tyrant, Root Abyss, Sengoku... the list goes on). While I do not deny that players with tradable gear might not be interested in switching over to the new system of additional options, it wouldn't be crippling if they chose not to. From what I've gathered... the boosts listed from KMSers' experiences... the most these boosts would provide is something in the ballpark of 3% mainstat/ 1-7 attack. You wouldn't lose much if you stuck with your gear un-ao'd; it'd be as if nothing happened (or, what we have currently, anyways). And by the way, we do not live in a perfect world. There will be those who choose not to partake, this system is not by any mean 'perfect'. What I'm trying to convey is that additional options would help to combat the buffed bosses. If anything, if players who didn't want to utilize the system, why not party up with someone who did?

Quote:That means you're being selfish, no? I would be upset if my friends were upset with this system. I dont like the scissor system. Why is it wrong to care for other players besides myself?

Not at all. Even if my friends had some pieces of gear that they didn't want to restrict, I know surely that have some untradables. And even if they didn't, like I said above, there is always the possibility of finding someone who did, if it really bothers you. I myself am equipped with full empress, along with other untradable gear. I can understand now, how I could have been narrow-minded, and you opened my eyes to that. However, if you state one side of the argument (such as not wanting to otp-in into the system), and feeling that it's unfair, you must also consider the people who have nontradable gear. How would it be any more fair them without the system, than it would be to those with tradable gear with the system? Would that not, on the same token, be considered 'unfair' or 'selfish'?

Again. This would not be forced on anyone. No money required.
