It's absolutely completely random, as with all traveling NPCs. To put it into perspective: been playing this game basically everyday since I got it, and since I'm a TTer, my town is currently in the month of September and I started it in June, and I play each day before switching to the next. In all those days, I've only had Gulliver show up 3 times, Redd show up 5 times, Katrina 9 times, Saharah 3 times, and Gracie a whopping 0 times (gettin real tired of her pomegranate, considering I need to pass her fashion checks for the final shop upgrade and she just won't show).

Just unlocked Dream Suite and QR Machine today. Hopefully I can find some patterns I like for my paths. My grass is looking pretty beat up already...

Nah, never in the entire AC series have they ever penalized you with the appearance of important special characters if you TT'd or not.

Oh, and I also forgot to mention I've also had Phineas show up about 9 times as well. Forgot about him last night.

So I left my 3DS in sleep mode overnight as I slept, I opened it up when I got up today and lo and behold, Reggie has finally shown up in my HH Showcase. Not sure why my friend got him to show up instantly, but it took my 3DS 8+ hours to get him to appear, but whatever, I got him, that's all that matters.

Thanks! I'm considering making the corner pieces that are missing, but it would need a patterns mule as right now the pattern eats 9 spaces. (Saving the 10th for furniture pattern)

Yea the grass seems to wear away pretty fast =( I noticed it a lot around already existing dirt patches and near retail / my house. Goodluck with your pathing if you do it though and do share screens!

On another note though, my Prima guide arrived today. It is a pretty amazing guide even if it has a few errors in it. Love the calendar for catching creatures, birthdays and such. The catalogue is really nice and has pictures of all of the items. It has some useful info I didn't know about such as how to get the better tools too.

As for the price issue, I don't get why people just didn't read the huge disclaimer saying 1/4 of the price when sold. Ah well.

Also the lighthouse has exceeded my expectations by a large margin!

Yes they can die. Rain will water them but they won't create hybrids.

If they start to wilt you can water them and they will normally recover (Wilting looks like a darker coloured plant and also they droop a little in some cases)
