Unleashed Gachapon Update

So, cleaning up Gachapon has been a longstanding project of mine and Waltzing. There was a bit of a scuffle over this...and finally, I really think we have a Gachapon we are proud of. Players have complained before about feeling "scammed" by Gachapon...and we've done our best to remove any items that we feel are worth less than 1k NX. So hopefully from now on, no one should feel scammed over Gachapon. At worst, you get your money back.

And we'll update it over time as prices for some of these items vary.

And if you guys get something from Gachapon you really feel is not worth the 1k ticket price...let us know. We'll see what we can do about it.

Well as everyone else has said about 100 times now, temporary stuff doesn't really make the gachapon anywhat worth while :/ IMO.

Mesoranger stuff, eh. It's ok but not really all too great. Not really sure if it's worth the 1k nx since most people took advantage of the mesoranger event when it was out (I still have about 5 or 6 black mesoranger suits lol)

The dark scrolls and mastery books kinda really throw it off, I mean you might get the mastery book you want but you definitely have a better chances with a mystery mastery book.

I don't care too much for the reverse equipment, I guess they can be sort of a consolation prize lol, you can't have just everything that everyone wants in there in there.

You all seem to be missing something. While it would be nice to have all aces in Gacha, not every pull should be a win. If every single item was a good item from gacha, everyone would gacha and prices for items would drop. It is good to have variety.

I agree that some items shouldn't have a smega, as they really don't deserve it (reverse gear is so pre-bb).

I like the changes, and look forward to trying the new gachapon soon!

Just a suggestion to @Girasol ... remove Tempest and Reverse gear gachapon notices, those are very common gears now since months ago and it would really cut down the spam in game.

While we're on the subject of updating Gachapon, why isn't there a list for everything that you can get in Gachapon, like how the Marvel Machine tells you what you can get?

I don't think it would be in their best interest to reveal a list of 500+ items with only maybe 5-10% of it being worthwhile prizes

So out of 20 tickets, I recieved 9 temporary chairs. This is bulls'hit Nexon. Nobody wants temp chairs. Also all these mastery books are WORTHLESS. Just filling up my inventory with junk.

Considering that most mastery books are between 5-25mil depending on what server you're in, that's definitely something that I don't think should be in there. Also, if mounts and chairs are going to be in Gachapon, you should at least make them all permanent ones, these temporary chairs and 30 day mounts are really a waste of space.

Like Rob mentioned, take out Reverse & Timeless stuff, replace it with more Abyss/Fearless or Loveless even. Also what's the % chance of getting really rare items like White Angelic Rings & Lightning God Rings? I know they should be at a low rate because of their rarity, but at the same time it'd be nice to see a few of them floating around the FM for people who cannot get NX to gach (I don't fall under that category but I am just thinking of other people).

Would also like to see Nova & Tyrant gear in there as well at a low rate unless the Marvel Machine is coming back? lol

Abyss/Fearless items are in the Gachapon. Not *all* Reverse/Timeless equipment is in there, either, just some that we felt were still good enough for Gach. However, it was a fine enough line as it is, so we will consider whether or not we want to keep them in the future.

As for Mastery Books...honestly, Gach is the only place you can get Mastery Books reliably. But we agree getting a ton would not be satisfactory. The same thing with temporary chairs. So we'll look into what we can do about that.

And no, I am not going to reveal % rates. Sorry.

There's like 1200+ items in the Gachapon (and there used to be much more). It's not as easy as Marvel Machine. =/

If I may suggest a few things more in response to what you said...it wouldn't be terribly bad to keep Timeless weapons in there, but I really think reverse weapons are a complete waste.

I can't say I completely agree with your statement about mastery books and it being the only reliable place to get them. It's still a random chance of getting a mastery book that may or may not be what you need, and so it's really no different from Mystery Mastery Books, which go for roughly 5mil each in most servers...now if it were possible to make it so you get class specific mystery mastery books (like the ones in the 8th anniversary & unleashed shops) that might be more worthwhile because people could sell them for a bit more since the buyer would know they are getting a book specifically for their class and not some randomized one from the entire pool of what's available. Or like you said, reduce the chance of them getting received vs. the better rewards...same thing for the temporary chairs (if you have to keep temp chairs in maybe make it so all the temporary chairs last like 6 months or something that way people can at least get some use out of them before they expire in 1-3 months).

And I wasn't really looking for the % rates of getting items persay haha...it's pretty apparent how rare the Lightning God Ring is and although I wish it would pop up a bit more I understand the reasoning for it being far and few between. I can say I am a fan of the unique potential scrolls, chaos scroll of goodness, and A nebulites floating around, so that's a plus! Still holding out for Tyrant gear to pop up though, just saying haha

10% scrolls should not be in the Gacha. I was still getting normal weapon att 10% scrolls, I wouldn't call that wroth 1knx or anywhere near it. That was a complaint I had not now but for years. The mastery books now, getting 6 or 7 in a row multiple times are annoying when I end of dropping or fusing them.

Just to throw it out there, Reverse equips are dead now, end them.

Chairs that expire, no matter how rare the chair, aren't anywhere close to being worth 1k NX that is for sure.

Can't tell you how many times I see people dropping expiring chairs en mass.

Obviously reverse equips, chairs that expire, and most mastery books aren't equivalent to the 1k nx price of gach tickets. However, it would be ridiculous if every item in gach was worth more than 1k nx. The basic idea of gach and other CS items that give random rewards should be that, over a large sample size, you "earn" the equivalent of what you spent. Whether the current gach achieves that or not is another issue.

What abuse?
