Feedback Unleashed: Part IV - I am my hair

Hate to say it but it seems there's more that I hate than what I like in this update. I'll save my final judgement for when I have tried playing all this.

Dunno how much exactly they buffed the bosses but guessing its at least 4-5 times as much hp as before (might be even more dunno since did it only once and got kicked out due to sc in the middle of pirate lord which i was fighting for at least a min.

@DemonImpact

Yeah i forgot about that too.

Meh i guess its time to quit again. Rolleyes

I think I've accidentally clicked increase inventory like four times now.
God damn it Nexon I don't have monies for your stupid NX.
#63
My only complaint is that the raised damage cap. I don't think it should have ever been raised, or at least raised by that much.

Why not? 99% of the community will never reach the cap anyway.

tbh I'm glad for the raised damage cap, because now I can double-Ender the stupid Dimensional Invasion tower, instead of failing so many times. It's amazing what they tag as Boss monsters and what they don't.

Two reasons: Buffing bosses that already few players (comparable to the entire population of the game) could solo and widening the gap between the rich and the very-rich. Widening the gap between the rich and the very-rich is infinitely worse (at least in my opinion) than the gap between the rich and the poor. The gap between the rich and the very-rich is also more relevant as well.

I really hope they get back to adding empress equips to the evolving world summons Sad That was my last hope of being able to afford empress equips.

Two problems that is only incidentally linked to the raised damage cap. A low cap in this case is only an artifical band aid fix to much bigger issues. Granted, it is debatable if a band aid fix is preferable or not, but still, the cap is not the problem.

SaptaZapta Wrote:It really bugs me that the events don't work in the new areas.
I have to choose whether to train/quest in one of the new places we got, or stay at the old victoria/ossyria maps for the kill-300 attendance and collecting teabags for coins.
You'd think that Unleashed events would work with Unleashed content, but...

I hope that the lack of an option to show all your inventory is in preparation for increasing max inventory size.

The new way to reveal hidden potential is disgusting. That's not how you do "meso sink", Nexon. Unfunded characters who have to train their insight within the 500-per-day limit, have to pay more to identify stuff than funded people who can do the unlearn/relearn to max Insight overnight? Also, since identifying doesn't give any Insight, alchemists are pretty much screwed. I guess that's to make up for not having to pay for potions?

While I like that the equip window is a little smaller, I don't like that I need to click an extra tab to see my pet's equips. I tend to put my pet away a lot, and when I take it out again I need to check whether it's "forgotten" the potions assigned to auto-HP and MP.
i did today's attendance quest solely at future mixed golems, what mob were you killing for the quest in future perion that didn't work?
FabledGumbo Wrote:Is it because of damage, number of hits, mobility, or some combination of the three? The whole thing seems ridiculous as I can barely swing it as a moderately funded Kaiser, and even so I'll periodically not one shot them with gigas wave because of more misses or less crits than usual. I imagine most explorers would have a tough time even if you could theoretically one shot the mobs consistently at level 209.
everything, i can OHKO, and have two ultimates (Roar and dark synthesis) and i get a C on every non-boss stage there, with a smaaaaall chance of a B in the first stage, which i lose because every time i go in i lose my pets and their buffs.
Ribbonpig Wrote:Likes:
-That they fixed the Pink Bean mounts - I love flying on them.
-Character stats, but I don't like the equip and item inventories opening up at the same time.
-Higher Level Content.
-The extra 'challenge' since LHC is no longer party play, makes other training spots better.
-Skill Window - Really like how we can add multiple SP at once, instead of clicking it one by one.
-New World Map Window
-The events

Dislikes:
-It's hard for me to tell the potential differences, it was very easy to before.
-The smaller stars on enhanced items, I liked the gigantic stars, so I didn't have to count them, and it was easier to tell how many enhancements was on an item.
-The item inventory is too wide imo, I liked my smaller one, since now when I accept a trade, I have to drag my trade window to the left to fit my inventory.
-After my equip and inventory tabs close along with the stat UI, the equip or item inventories are where they were with the stat UI.
-The 90% off discount event. Tired of seeing my chat flooded with gachapon notices.
-When viewing bosses (like Vellum) he starts doing his attacks on the screen, and is off of the book border (I believe this is intentional? Perhaps a bug.)
my black PB mount doesn't fly ._. and oh god the blue wall of death

try 50x or something, dodo took me almost the entirety of the time, and i got kicked when i killed lilynouch because i tried to use mp healing method and didn't notice i had just a few seconds to spare for the next room, it's insane.

edit: i like the new cap, if only because roar no longer is capped at 999k damage, i can finally kill the minibeans with it!

I like everything but how glitched Root Abyss is and the nerf on lower-level training grounds. Not that I have experienced most of the new content yet, so I can't really leave a complete feedback.

I tried the attendance in Twisted Aquaroad, the squids (level 200) didn't count.

I got to Perion later, and throughout the quests (kill 200 of these, collect 100 of that), none of the stumps or boars dropped tea bags, kaleidoscope coupons, or 8th Anniversary boxes. Today when I trained at Ancient Mixed Golems, they did not drop any of the above items, nor the items my bishop needs for one of the board game quests. (Chief Oblivion Guardians drop all of those, frequently. So do the various Knights at HoH.)

This patch has been amazing in all ways. Meso cap increase and empress change makes trading with meso FAR better, and making money is much easier, plus with gach supplies hitting the market this hard making new items isn't anywhere near as hard either. Training is better than it has ever been and leveling is worthwhile too.

oh yea, they don't drop any of the event stuff (which is greatly annoying me, because it would certainly help make the train less monotonous) but they seem to work for the quest "kill 300 monsters" (the golems i mean)

The new root abyss map works for it also. Convenient since it's the most accessible thing right now.

I would be with you on this if it wasn't for the fact that the previous cap still didn't balance out rich and poor. It made classes hitting multiple hits per second superior compared to classes based on a few powerful hits.

Now it's the other way around though. Classes like Mercedes got absolutely nothing from this update (unless you count being shafted). A 50m cap helps a marginal amount of people. I think the cap should've increased given how easy it was, however, 50m is too high.
#77
Mercedes got the same thing everyone else did...not being limited by a damage cap. Just because you can't ever hit cap doesn't mean your character is weak.
#78
I can only solo up to stage 2 of the vPQ. I'm mad, sad, and happy.

But nonetheless, the patch seems okay.

Demon Slayer has voiceovers.

"Do you HEAR my cry?"
I wonder what a girl DS sounds like saying that...

lel I'm so weird Excellent

DemonImpact Wrote:not only the fact that bosses got stronger, also, the average unfunded player got nerfed becauser of the new pdr & total dmg formulas

I've lost A LOT of dmg since last patch... I used to hit 800k-999k's before unleashed, now I'm hitting 600k's at bosses

that's a NERF while bosses just got way stronger than before

The average unfunded player doesn't have any PDR ignore. Even if they did, those amounts would be so tiny (or come from very few sources) that the PDR changes are hardly going to affect them. The people being hit are the middle-class players (such as yourself).

Please stop trying to use the lower class as a pretence for your whingeing.
