v.137 - Unleashed Update Notes
Ivangold Wrote:bro von leon isn't the proest commander so eqps will be weaker, it's by irearchy the eqps of the commanders(like if damien come out maybe he wil have the weaker eqps)
i think the irearchy is like Damien>Von Leon>Hilla>Guanru(idk how to write his name)>Magnus(it would be weaker than arkarium i think?)>arkarium>new commander for explorers storyline

Oh no, I understand that Von Leon armor won't be the greatest in the world xP but for me it's a step up from using boring old 110 Dragon Armor.
Plus, it'd be a fun side-project for me to collect it! =3

We probably have different experiences in this matter, but the only time I have actually seen more people attacking than leeching at LHC is during 2x events or when I'm there with people I know.

Shortly after it was released? Yeah, probably. But even months after, it was already a leeching ground.

MaplesGrandGM Wrote:I get this point of view, it's better than some people's opinions on this matter. "Omg, now I can quest." Awesome, great for you. So, when you finish your quests, along with everyone else, it just becomes another useless area. Great. For those of us, like myself, that actually trained at LHC though, and didn't just leech all day, or hack our way up, etc, this is a loss... Well, it's at least a pretty big set back. Guess we'll have to see how some of the adjustments made in level increase for those other areas work out. Not much use in complaining till we get to see everything.

Personally, I could have done without an LHC area all along if we never had it, but I'm honestly not a fan of having something that reduces the work load, and then having it taken away. I'd be like if all forms of fork lifts just vanished over night, except that would really hurt me, and this doesn't, it just inconveniences me. Though yeah, I hope all you quest people enjoy them for the couple of hours you'll spend doing them per character.

Edit: Grammar and such.

let's remove the quest complain, it's not only the quests but many ppls would like to change maps to lv and go to TOT for ex, i'm sure ppls love that maps but LKC was better in any way i think, since you couldn't go to bears so easy(and it was nice map if you see) it was bad. What map you would change to train, like LKC to TOT or jester to ludibrium

that's quite true, but other problem that see, is you want that good exp from LKC (in 2x for exemple) but you want to train in a cool map, and you don't want to train in LKC, but since KMS got the part play bonus they removed in GMS as well

Bladester Wrote:All my characters I actually like are above 120 anyway, so this doesn't really affect them that much. That said, for the other 4 characters that are around level 80 or so...where do I go to train them now? I wish I was joking, but I've been relying on Masteria for so long I don't know anywhere else to go.

Roids and Neo Huroids in Lab Area C-2 is a godly place for lvl 70 - 85. I have train every single Link Skill mule there.
After 85 I usually go to Galloperas until lvl 100. Then 100-110 Captains/Ghost Pirates. Finally 110-120 Dual Ghost Pirates/Blue-Red Dragon turtles.

It also depends on the class as well. Some classes are horrible with the map layout of Ghost Pirates and some classes work great. Kaisers for example: You don't need to move left or right at all on DGP. You just need to press "Jump down + Attack + Jump down + Attack".

This was my training areas ever since the Legends Update. But now with MPE and Evo? Now what I do is basically train to lvl 40, stock on monster park extreme coupons for a week, wait for a 2exp event and do 40-100 in a breeze. After that, 100-120 Evolution world with Cores...Pfff doing 1-120 nowadays is incredibly easy.

OT:
Last time I trained on LHC it was on my Sair..like 1..year ago? On my Phantom, I never touched LHC or HoH. So I'm neutral on the topic of party play zones. I guess I really don't mind because I have been a solo-type player my whole life. (Even before BB, people were doing Parties at Skeles and I preferred doing Dual-Channel misting skelegons alone.)

Well, Gallos and MP3 are now in the 14x-15x range, so cross that off your list.

If anyone's missed it, the newest patch file is up. Alien cogs now give 1495 exp, according to maplefreak26;

I don't know if you know, but we got the party play removed a year (or two?) after KMS did. And I imagine it was only after a lot of complaining to just remove it because it was a hacker attraction, in addition to asking for more diversity in training places.

Did KMS have the PQ change?

Hehe, yea I know. xP Ever since Monster Park Extreme and Evolution world came out, I retired my training list. Those two spots alone are great for players that only play 1-2 hours a day.

Nope, they still have the limits and the same amount of materials.

Makes me wish they would do other changes like removing the stupid limit on traits.

Oh, man, PQ limit removed, trait limit removed. -drools-

about LHC, i didn't really want it nerfed, but rather, other areas brought up to what LHC did, ignoring hackers, selling leech was one of the few methods out there to make mesos with your character strength, since everything else bar empress is cheapo as hell in scania (and even then you require a store and stuff.)

Also, did they nerf the Unlimited Ring? Now called the Secret Ring? I thought it had the same stats as the Tempest Ring.

It's a different ring. From what I remember, the only thing special about the secret ring was that it could have pretty good additional options, since we aren't getting those, it's just a standard 2nd Tier potential ring, which I suppose is still pretty good.

You'll probably want to save about 150 coins for the Frost Ring later, which is third tier.

I believe there's two of them. Never mind, see this from Max's blog:

Quote:Newly created characters will receive the Unlimited Ring upon reaching level 50.

That Secret Ring is the one from the shop along with the Frosty Ring, both can have potential IIRC along with the Unlimited Ring.

Oh, and additionally, I thought you said the Legend Ring, but no, the Unlimited Ring is just the Legends Ring + Crit, the ring that's like the Tempest Ring is the Ultimate Ring. The Ultimate Set is pretty much the Tempest set recolored purple, and in GMS, these items have been renamed 'Pinnacle'.
