Summarized %/s List
How comparable do you think Demonslayers and Battle mages fully buffed ranges are?
Reply
BaM should have higher ranges than DS. More magic attack and +50% magic attack from ADA + Body Boost beats the DS weapon multiplier.

i thought it was 60% :O

i guess that does make sense

it just for some reason in my head seems like DS always have higher ranges

@JoeTang

Well what do you mean "They're there"? What % crit are you using per class? What multipliers are you using? Are they specific to each job or is there a standardized one across all classes? What I meant about assumptions was that everyone uses a standard range, no weapon multipliers, 0% defense, etc. Are the critical figures included in that standard list?

They're at whatever values those classes have.

I apologize for so many questions but does that imply that the values are from only each classes skills? Are link skills or decent skills allowed? Inner abilities or character cards? For example, with the RED hyper skills, a bowmaster has a 70% chance with 1.35 and 1.8 mulipliers. However with link skills, that rate is easily inflatable to 100%.

JoeTang Wrote:No, it does not include weapon multipliers.

Dudewitbow Wrote:the table % is there generally to allow the user to multiply the % damage to their damage range to find out their in game range. since the weapon multiplier is part of the damage range and not the skill range, its kept out on the skill % chart.

In that case, no offence, but don't you think it would be more logical to remove buffs that increase range? Doesn't make sense to me to include some things that change range, but not others.

EDIT: @mouse1093, yea it's just based on their skills, not link skills, hence the "no outside bonuses."

I would think you only want to use your unbuffed range in game. the % chart(I would think) covers skill buffs. its the amount of damage gained from solely using skills in a patern where maximum damage output made.

gah such a hard decision now to choose between demon slayer and Battle mage!
if only mages had flash jump too Sad

that would be fine, but since +atk and +stat buffs aren't included, you still need to use SOME buffs to use the chart, which isn't very consistent. but oh well, i'm not gonna complain (any more) until i spend the time to make my own dps chart

EDIT: oh speaking of weapon multipliers, does anyone know where i can find all the weapon multipliers, including the newer weapons like luminous rod and the angelic burster gun?

because for some classes, the chart doesn't really work if you don't count in some of their buffs, mainly referring to classes with %total damage buffs, the 100% boss charts would be skewed.

did your newest update take into account merc's 20% damage buff from lightning edge and the boss damage and max crit from defense break?
Reply
@JoeTang can you update this list?

I think he's waiting for all the RED changes to finish before finalizing the table.

Came from Insoya's DPM list.

Forget that, the list is a giant mess.

The one thing I don't like about those lists from Insoya is there's no mathematics behind it to show the conclusions they came to.
Reply
It was google-translated but the correct job names are on the right side. Some of the skill names can also be interpreted, for example, GB for Kaiser will probably refer to Gigaslash, & Wings might refer to Wingbeat.
