How was your day?
Had an interview where I was told in the first 5 minutes that I wasn't getting the position because "it's just so much more sales and business knowledge than anything else, which is the polar opposite of what you have experience in."

So why did you drag me down to Chelsea on my lunch break again?

At least the interviewer complimented my cover letter and said I'll be a "great hit" in New York and the fashion/editorial industries, and that "InStyle would be foolish not to hire you full time." Yeah, that would be nice, but who knows what their openings will be like over the next few months.

But hey, the day wasn't a total loss, because I scheduled a receptionist interview with Perry Ellis, so just another day of progress, another day of fingers crossed #knockonwood.

Tried to get into a bar/pseudo-club last night with Stephen and a friend.

Bouncer wouldn't let me in because he didn't like my ID or Visa credit card, and apparently I don't look 19 to him.
Pissed me off a bit. Might as well just bring my whole passport next time.
DO I SERIOUSLY NOT LOOK AT LEAST 19? WHAT IS THIS BULLSHIT. I'm 23 =.=

Personal: the last we had something like this happen, it hit me hard, this time isn't even affecting me, but I still miss her :/

Spending my day watching the Sword Art Online series. I think I can see why everybody likes it, it also gives me a Pokemon vibe, just without the Pokemon and capturing.
EDIT:
I'm on episode 4...
WHY IS THIS SERIES SO SAD?
nvm. Episode 4 was happier.

I have this strange feeling all the time lately and I can't get rid of it. Idk what it is, but I just don't feel good. So I went to the doctor and he tells me I'm depressed and should see a psychiatrist, but I don't want to...

I can see why people would think you're approximately 17, you have a youthful air about you.

Seriously loving these insanely busy days where substantial progress occurs in my life. I really want to keep up and/or increase the steam so as to have every day be like this (like they've already been).

Progress today:

- I will actually work at InStyle next week, which is a positive change given I wasn't supposed to be in until mid-late July after this week #dolladollabillzyall
- (What turned out to be group) interview at Bloomingdale's for a Chanel RTW (I KNOW RIGHT??) Sales Associate went so well I was called for a second interview not two hours after leaving, when we were told we'd hear within 24-48 hours
- On a negative note with a positive silver lining, one of the four in our "Friends" group looking for apartments dropped out, which was sad given we found a place today we were literally about to sign tomorrow had everyone been good. The upside? One less person to worry about = that much easier to find places, especially those for 3

ON TO HUMP DAY! As always, fingers crossed #knockonwood.

I renamed my pet rabbit from Bugsy (short for Bugs Bunny) to Rinku.

All the names I chose related to his physical features were too hard to pronounce or too simple. :|
