Unleashed coming to GMS starting June 19th!
SaptaZapta Wrote:Yes. But technically, the update of the Masteria mob stats qualifies.

Yeah, that's true (though, I, as I'm sure we all are, am hoping it's not), but I just mean it's not GPQ, at least.

How would changing the levels and stats of mobs count as " new content "? That'd be absolutely ludicrous.

It certainly would not be the first time our exclusive content qualified for that though.

She didn't say "content".
She was asked about "Masteria update", which this is, and called it "our own stuff", which this also is.
(Of course, I, like everyone else, am hoping it's just the beginning.)

Either way, there would be no reason to say she can't talk about it at that point in time when it's seriously just mob adjustments.

The (seemingly, if the mob stat updates are truly the aforementioned Masteria update) literal genie nature of Nexon's community reps is really starting to peeve me.

I'd also like to weigh in on the August Update, aka possible Silent Crusade update. Isn't Pixiemom only involved in the Japanese version of the Silent Crusade quests? Wild Mass Guessing, go!

Speaking of the Masteria mob stats, I noticed the Stormbreakers in this picture are level 115 and give 719 exp.

Assuming the EXP penalty is in effect, it should be 1797 EXP to a level 115 player. That's the exact same as every other mainstream level 115 mob in the game.

So much for "smoother gameplay throughout the region." Yeah, go from 3000 exp Aliens to 1797 exp Stormbreakers. That's really smooth. Great job Nexon! Tongue

Sigh, I was really hoping they'd make Masteria relevant again. I wanted it to compete with LHC. Sad

I wouldn't be surprised if they just use KMS' Ereve Ruins HP/EXP for Singapore/Malaysia/Ulu City now.

Nexon: Oh, don't worry about that. We've updated Aliens stats too.... now they match all other level 95 mobs in the game.

(they did say all mobs outside the Mansion have been updated...)

If it is true and they did bring back GPQ because they listened to their players then they must be working on something for Masteria. Because I'm sure they have got the message loud and clear that they fucked up Masteria big style.

Maybe aliens will finally get a death animation Excellent

Normally I'd agree with you, but this is girasol we're talking about. She wouldn't tease you like that over something so minimal. I think she's done enough for us to be optimistic with her foreshadowing, although experience would have shot me and left me in the middle of the street for even thinking that.

The time frame she gave for the update to roll out is nowhere near close to the 19th of june...

=o so it may actually be balanced with the rest of the game? Sold! I'm totally gonna start training in Masteria.

I've been ignoring Aliens entirely, knowing they had above normal EXP, so having new content that actually fits the rest of the game is perfect for me~

Hopefully they use CMS's.

Correction: I noticed it and told you.

Nexon did revamp it and make it relevant again, its called Crimsonwood Citadel Rolleyes

In any case, what you said reminded me of something, NexAm, fucking balance out all of your exclusive mobs. Killing 50 lvls worth of content with only one freaking mob is in no way a good example of game design. (I'm talking about those aliens giving 3k exp)

Pssh. You wouldn't have said anything if I didn't bring it up in the first place! Therefore, I noticed it!

Well aren't you positive!
...but then again, they're already the same as mainstream mobs right now, just lower leveled, so I suppose the same thing that's stopped you from going there up til now will stop you from going there after this patch Rolleyes.

I wish they would try to make Masteria monsters more relevant to train. I mean it doesn't have to be extremely overpowered (hurr durr 3000 exp level 90 good idea guys), it could just be like a small exp boost from mainstreamed monsters. If they increase the exp gain by like 300 I'd be happy to train at the new stormbreakers.

I know what you mean, and I completely agree, but personally I don't really care much about levels 1-110 anymore. It's a piece of cake now with MPE/Evo world anyway.
I just want something to compete with LHC. I'm sick of staying in the same map (or three) for 55 freaking levels! Nexon had a good opportunity here with CWK to really give people an incentive go to there. Instead they took the lazy route and slapped the same stats of every other mob of that level on them.
As byakugan mentioned, KMS even has Crimsonwood Citadel now, which basically fills in for those few levels that LHC starts getting repetitive at (granted they don't have LHC in the first place).
I was hoping the Singapore revamp would be SOMETHING useful, something similar to Crimsonwood Citadel. I was so hopeful when I saw it, but after seeing this I have no hope at all.
I just want to train somewhere else at like 14x-16x that doesn't suck. I just want some variety!

All this talk about training on the same mobs for 50 levels with no variety reminds me of that one thread I made about training on the same mobs for 50 levels with no variety... :v

hopefully you'll be able to update that chart of yours after this patch.
