Cygnus impressions

for those wondering whether or not it gives you a free character slot if you have 3 characters on an account already, it does.

I would presume that it adds a slot regardless of how many characters you have - whether it is 3, 4, 5, or 6. Good to know, thanks.

Also, one last thing: If you decline originally, can you go to Ereb and then accept later on?

I'm sure you could, as I said it merely warps you to Ereb. If you declined to be warped then you'd be able to go by boat later on and talk to Nineheart that way.

Well, in KMS your characters on the account are all the same gender anyway, so it's not even possible for them to choose; it's set in stone from the moment the account is created. They may or may not adjust it for GMS.

I didn't even know the bit about KMS players not being able to choose the character gender. Now, I'm kind of optimistic that GMS (when it arrives here) would probably offer that option.

you choose your class at level 10 on the noblesse character. it's not pre-chosen based on your original job choice.

then cant ppl just abuse it to get free char slot? they could just create cygnus char, get slot,create reg char to fill that spot, repeat the pattern till they get max spot o.O

Doesn't work like that. It's a special cygnus slot.

for something MORE insteresting than this..
i mean.. you already beat the Black Magician's subordinate, even before the 2nd job? that sux!
i hope they will add more subordinates and quests to Ereb.. because mainly i only can see so far from lvl 30+.. quests for job advancement only.

There's still two new bosses, I'd imagine you fight them just before 70 and 120.

The latter would seem to be a tough thing to solo.

I have a question about the Blessing(?)(adds w.atk and m.atk) skill which is shared between the parent character and the Cygnus.

If your parent character is a warrior, do you have to choose the path of the warrior for your Cygnus in order for the Blessing skill to work between the two? Or can they both be different jobs and have the skill shared?

You can make any job. If you look closely you will see Isaac's parent character is a brawler/infighter.

Yes, I am aware of Isaac's parent character and Cygnus. However I want to make sure if the Skill itself will work if they are two different jobs. I don't want to make the Cygnus a different job from my warrior only to find that the skill doesn't create a link between the two.

The only thing here to get the skill is the existence of a Cygnus character. If you use your Warrior to make a Cygnus character, it WILL get the Blessing skill, regardless of the Cygnus character's class.

good thing i can see they didnt change the exp table, so it wont be hard to get to 120 with all the leech we have......
