Maple's Story!
In continuation to Magatia's Story, I'll try my best to tell what I've read about the Mysteries of Dr. Le Lang. This is not 100% accurate, since its hard for me to remember three days of questing with all the other stuff going on around me. I've also condensed the story so I won't have to write down the unecessary parts, so forgive me if some information is missing.

If you're obsessed with Magatia's quests and storyline, and don't want any spoilers, don't read this.
All the content in this is 100% SPOILERS!
(My friend apparently yelled at me for leaking the story out to him before he finished the quests, so I'm just making sure in case some of you there don't want to be spoiled.)
I do highly recommend you do the quests first before you read the story though, the surprises are thrilling (or if you finished all the quests but apparently just clicked 'NEXT'NEXT'NEXT' without reading anything of what the NPCs had said).

What exactly do you mean? I'm afraid this post doesn't make much sense to me.
I mean.. he just disappeared. i never heard about any explosion in his lab..
and because that the magatians thought that he has some connection to the black magician..

You are totally clueless about these quests... Seriously.

In the GMS quest chain it says there was an explosion many, many times.
IsaacGS Wrote:In the GMS quest chain it says there was an explosion many, many times.

why would they change that..?

or maybe this is the alchemist? Shine
Have you actually finished all the quests?

Dr. De Lang bombed his lab to destroy all of the failed research based on the Black Magicians work.
there is the 2 parts of the whole story.. before magatia/nautilus and after magatia nautilus.. before magatia and nautilus were created the story was just about stuff like balrog attacking them etc.. after magatia, ellin forest and nautilus... Dark magician's story started to make sense.. so thats why ereb was created.

ADD IN : im a quest whore and if i see any quests not done ill never hesitate to do it..

and everything seems to be correct.. gj on this Big Grin
v.40 Patch Notes Wrote:Masteria takes its name from the many warriors who came to the continent looking to master their fate and find their destiny. It has mysteriously risen from the sea after a 1000-year absence. This once fabled continent was home to a technologically advanced civilization that used a myriad of techniques for benevolence...before the dark times. There are very few records of the final act which caused the continent to plunge into the sea, and its jewel, Olde Sapp Village to be erased from the Maple World.

What civilization is this referring to? Did the Krakians enhance their bodies with machinery even then?

Humanoid A != Dr. De Lang. I think you meet him at least once in person in one of those lv 7x quests.

Yes, but that's because... you go to the past, somehow.
TKWizard Wrote:Humanoid A != Dr. De Lang. I think you meet him at least once in person in one of those lv 7x quests.

As he said, Site takes you to the past. I'm not sure exactly how, i think it's Site's memory of Dr. De Lang. Something to that effect. The point is, that's not the present. What you see of Dr. De Lang is a memory of a projection of what was really there a long time ago. So, Humanoid A can still me Dr. De Lang. If that were so, it makes the end of Magatia quests have an end I'm truly satisfied with. I think it's the best storyline in Maple so far. Yay going off on tangents...
I'm almost 100% sure that Humanoid A is Dr. De Lang. If he wasn't, then the storyline wouldn't be complete. But to me, it's just obvious he is. He wanted to stay alive forever to see her daughter.. and so he just transformed himself to a robot through an experiment, even if he knew he would have lost his memory.

Anyway, Isaac, remember you have a Crimsonwood Keep's story to write after the second part will come out. =P

I really look forward that..

Humanoid A is Dr. De Lang, the NPC version of De Lang you see is Parwen's Memory fragment. It's not the real De Lang.
I'm not sure if this has been asked, but why do you call the Zemunists "Jemunists"?
Before the English version was released, Korean "Zenumists" translated to English is "Jenumists".

Nexon's the ones that mistranslated :p
