Fffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu... so, so tempted to just download it right now from the eShop. I prefer having physical copies, but it's mainly cause I feel like I'd eventually get some money back by reselling/trading them in, and I don't feel like I'd do that for this game...

Chose Animal Crossing as my free 3DS game from the Nintendo Europe promotion (Buy 3 games, get a download free!). Its going to be good! Another week to go for europe though

Whee, I think I've done all I can do in New Leaf for right this minute. I wish I would've told Isabelle that I wanted a fishing rod; I imagine she'd've given me one. I caught all the bugs I think there are for this time of day/season. And bought all I wanted from the stores and made my first downpayment and filled up my tent with a few things.

i dunno if i'll like it though, i like rpgs but watching videos of it doesn't wow me. Like how are you meant to know how much hp a monster has? there's no bar right?

Donkey Kong is still a great platformer.
If Lego City is as hilarious as the Wii U game, that'll be great too.
Monster hunter... ehh. Might be ok, I got it for free from the other promo that Nintendo EU is running right now, because I didn't register one of my 3DSes (2 free full retail games in 2 weeks once I get animal crossing, I love you nintendo europe!)... it's as meh as I remember the Wii game being. Definitely not for all tastes.

CAstlevania and pokemon mystery dungeons are both a definite "no though.

Oh, for that matter, Anyone in Europe registering/buying a 3DS right now on club nintendo for your region. can get a free copy of monster hunter 3 Ultimate if you know someone else who already bought it, or can get someone to give you a recommendation code.

Monster Hunter is a completely skill based game. You don't know how much HP they have exactly, but there are signs on when they are weak and if their HP is low. They act differently, they limp, they get exhausted, the title isn't an exaggeration, you literally hunt monsters.

Just downloaded New Leaf through e-shop.

I JUST started talking to this cat person on the bus and I got immediate feels! I've never played an Animal Crossing game before but have heard nothing but good things about them for years so decided I had to try this one. This damn thing is too cute. HE'S A TALKING CAT NAMED ROVER!

Yeah, thankfully it only took roughly an hour to decide on a name. Named it after the town in one of my favorite games of all time. If I had thought of that sooner it wouldn't have taken me so long...

I mashed random letters together until I found a name I found acceptable and didn't sound terrible. Only took like...25 minutes!

There is not. I was considering making one considering how much crap there is in this game, would be better to separate the discussion from the generic 3DS thread.

Agreed. AlphaDream needs to be the only Mario RPG developers, Intelligent systems should be taken away from making Mario RPGs after the mediocre Super Paper Mario and Paper Mario Sticker Star.
