Southperry's Music Hitlist
#1
I guess it's kind of like Magus's threads about SP's favorite games. This isn't really a contest, just a list of artists and recommendations by SP users. Just post an artist to add it to the list. Give me the genre as well, and a song that you like from them. You may also add a recommendation to an artist and/or a song, or add a new one. I'll eventually weed out the top five songs for each artist once it becomes too many. You may recommend two songs per artist, but as many artists as you want. Just not the same one twice.

Your post will be ignored if not in the following format, unless you're making comments:

ARTIST - GENRE [and subgenre/other genres] - SONG(S)

Sample Entry (# of artist recommendations)
The List:
Alternative (includes all genres too narrow to be classified)
 Alternative Rock
 Country
 Electronica/Techno
 Game/other
 Hip Hop/Rap
 Metal
 Pop
 Progressive Rock
 Reggae
 Rock
 Led Zeppelin (2)
 John Lennon (1)
 Joe Satriani (1)
 Queen (1)
 Sonic Youth (1)
 Younha (2)
 YUI (2)

I can't be too specific on genres, so "Classic Rock" and "Hard Rock" will be listed under Rock, but the two genres will be mentioned. Same case with other subgenres.
