If MapleStory could have a crossover with a TV Show...

Wasn't that what .hack was about? I don't know, I lost interest in it not long after watching it(the games of it I played were cool though), just remember a few people fell into comas or something playing it.

It isn't an original plot by any means. the first arc is basically that, with a main character who is stupidly overpowered. then the second arc mixes things up a slight bit, but at the same time completely removes all sense of tension out of the show by removing the chance of death, yet the characters still acted like everything was super important life or death which got annoying fast. Also it only follows video game rules when it feels like it for dramatic purposes.

I still don't understand why it is so popular, it's the most generic anime I have ever seen in my life, and I've watched a lot.

even if i dont like adventure time at all it seems the most interesting option(aside sanrio i would kill for a cinamoroll hat)
i dont know i think i would like to see something cartoonish than anime in gms(if you remember right we already had fma, naruto... even k-on in gms) so why no give a try to adventure time

Out of curiosity, if nexon were to get licensing rights for full metal alchemist, would that also give them rights to add in the FMA items in Mabinogi, or would that end up costing nexon more (which I would assume it would, but I'm not really sure how it would work). It would be kinda cool to see FMA items in both games.

Guess I'll act my age here, and say I've never watched any of those shows.

So I'm going to suggest Warner Bros. Give me a Road Runner mount (300% speed, let's say?), give me a Bugs Bunny boss (you think Vellum burrows fast?), or a Taz(manian Devil) one (the original tornado attack), give me a Tweety pet (with a cage equip), Give me a Yosemite Sam based cowboy class (complete with voice acting), give me -

We have one thing that is popular but you can't make anything based on it to sell, you got this other thing that is about half as popular and you can make a ton of stuff to sell.


Logically Adventure Time would sell more than Sword Art Online.

I hope you're not serious. How much do you know about Sword Art Online to conclude that it does not have content to sell?

I think this poll should have more American shows/comics than anime ones. For example Adventure time is a great option (even tough I don't like the tv show). But something like Marvel, Star wars or DC (Specially batman) would be a lot better. For example a Batmobile, Ironman suit or Hulk carrying you mount would be awesome. For weapons covers, Star wars have almost all of them. And for pets a mini wookies or ewoks from SW or the joker's hyenas from DC.

For Bosses, Star wars' Sith in general are almost done thanks to luminous barrier skill that imitates the force and for mobs the Storm Troopers could use the same IA as the Aliens from the Visitor PQ (Also some of the quest/Jumpquest could be related to them). From DC you can almost use anyone, Lex luthor's armored form with lazers, or the new Abusive Superman from the God's among us game (This would be good publicity for DC). And from Marvel Venom pleaaaaase.

The problem I have with SAO is that it's kind of a fad, and it is still kind of new... I like FMA because it is really dark and can relate more to maple, just my 2 cents

So, the batmobile is still possible ?

I know that this will be practically impossible but Nexon is one of the leaders in the MMO branch, if not the first one. I think that getting publicity from in-game events would be a big deal. Considering how EA will destroy the SW franchise anyways... Yeah, maybe after that the licences will be more accessible.

Also, SAO in this is like an MMO in a MMO. I think that I'd rather have FMA or Samurai X (rurouni kenshin)

Out of those choices, Adventure Time hands down. It fits too well.

But if I had to choose, I'd pick "Once upon a time, life". It'd be so RAD to run around dressed as a red blood cell, or using a white blood cell's vehicle to move around...

Fairy Tail is the only one I've followed out of those (as a manga, not anime), FMA I've watched a few episodes. I know nothing about Adventure Time either, first time I saw Huckeberry Finn was in the internets.

I guess Adventure Time is still the best option. As a Finn, this is my final choice. (Unless Death Note and Bleach will become options too +_+)

Adventure Time would logically make sense so my vote goes to either that or Full Metal Alchemist.

Assuming this crossover is successful, would Nexon go beyond TV shows and delve into games then? Like Sonic the Hedgehog, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, Super Mario?

As an Asian-American, I'd personally love to see Nexon America dive into crossovers from America and Asia. It is Global Maplestory, after all.


I'd love to see it incorporated across many areas (equips -- neat for anvils!, cash shop, dedicated map) rather than concentrated in one area (questline, party quest).
