Lol, I Returned (WHAT?!? O_O)...

I decided to play even though I lost nearly 2B+. With the money, I was blinded by this game and couldn't see the fun in this game. I'm now going to train, and hopefully attempt to get back the money I lost.

I decided that mEanEst (My DEX-less Assassin, 51) will be kill some monsters to get money, items, and scrolls. I want to make fast money. I don't want Sakuras, they're boring and don't give a lot of money, and selling their tails? Forget it.

What's some good monsters to kill for fast money and good scrolls? My brother told me Lorangs... Good scrolls (Overall INT, Claw 60%, ETC.). He also told me that Leprechauns dropped good amount of money and items.

I don't have a lot... A 20 Attack Claw, 20 Attack Hat, Subis, and good amount of pots (I can do the Christmas PQ for pots).

Leprechauns are much, much, better than Lorangs.

Leprichauns and merchanting, theres no "Fast money" in maplestory without NX or godly luck merchanting.

I'm thinking of getting 100m from the Leprechauns and merchanting to 2B. I can probably get 50m a day after, I'm really good at merchanting.

How much money do I get from Leprechauns per hour?

100m isnt very realistic for leprichauns, youll be grinding a loooong time, try doing quests with good rewards alongside, or lower your merchanting goal to like 60m or so, honestly, they're good money, but keep in mind that thats only in comparison to other monsters in MapleStory, farming for money in MapleStory isnt very realistic.

I think you should level up to 3rd job and hunt the area bosses. That's how I got the equips I have on my shadower. Every morning I 2x dropped every boss I could think of.

Pap, pianus, manon, griffey, snowman, tae roon, elizia, headless horseman

those were my usual bosses I went to. Manon/griffey/snowman usually gave the best payouts

I think by the time I get to 70, I can get enough money for merchanting

wait what? back when I fought those 2 bosses (with a party), I ended up wasting 1 mil worth of pots just to get some power elixers. No scrolls dropped. My friend who hunt for it rarely get some crap scroll. Did the drop rate change?

Well I was on 2x drop. I found like a bunch of overall ints from those 2 and alot of books.

I dont know why you're wasting so many pots, but shadowers are the ultimate pot savers when it comes to bosses. I probably only used like 20 pots per manon/griffey. I used the hell out of invincible BStep.

But I agree, snowman are easy to find and drop a few good scrolls, overall dex 60%, cape int 60% and one other one that I dont remember.

King Clang is also a possibility - I've had quite a few friends (as well as myself) walk away with Gloves Att 60% and Overall INT 60%, as well as a few other scrolls.

I net about 1m/hr at leprechauns on my crusader. If you get a pet that walks to the two you're killing (going back and forth for the drops), you probably could get to around 1.4m/hr. Keep in mind that you might be able to sell the lucky charms, and they also drop things such as japanese maps, green bandanas, and steelies.

In the first paragraph you say the money blinded you to the game and you're going to start training now.
Then you ask how to make the most money in the least time. Want to go blind again?

How about trying to play the game normally? Do quests, train on monsters that give good exp, keep the money in the background (and not the primary goal)?

I was foolish and was angry, so I took out my anger by putting out that ScrewAttack scams. I was foolish enough to see that they didn't, and it was a virus in my computer.

I suggest playing the way I do. Careless. Just doing what you feel you want to do. Yeah, the results are not that good, but I get more fun. Stuff like hunting for 5 monster cards in magatia... (On a side note, I didn't get the exp increase... I hope that doesn't mean I did it for nothing...) Hunt for boss etc, doing quests, trying to reach odd places, doing pqs like ppq or orbis...

You can of course prefer to hunt for money, and all that... And I should, too... I need a new claw :p

I'm sure a 17x NL would use 0 pots if they stand far back enough, and I'm sure I could easily do the same if I was 17x too. NLs don't have the avoid, invincibility frames, and defense skill that shadowers have. They do have alchemy tho. That's not what the topic is about though........ You quoted me just to say "LoL. Ah! You forgot drain! It saved me on a priestless papulatus run. I mean, I RAN OUT OF POTIONS. And if you count alchemist in, that's another add. If used correctly, you can train without using a single hp potion. And then there's meso up... Hermits are meso saving machines. Which they have to send on equips, stars, etc. :p
