Not 100% understanding the skills, but here's what I got
Piercing Through is an interesting skill that has a varying effect depending on the distance of the monster.
Spear Pulling is generic but good utility. Kind of useless if you OHKO though, especially since Spear Pulling and Pierce Through both hit twice.
Lamancha Spear quite possible the x = 120 is the attack rate. Since you're immobile while using it, it could be less useful.
Beholder stuff is meh. Good utility, hard to gauge whether Dominant is better than Buff.
Cross Over Chain's effect uh... Sounds rather overpowered. +100% Total Damage at max HP? Or what. I'm not sure what this exactly means.
Gungnir's Descent looks like it's quite strong, especially if it is +110% per hit, leading to 553% x 4. With the drain, and potential party members, full HP sounds like it'd be easy to maintain, along with constant Sacrifice = OP.

this is pretty blergh for my inner ability of +1 passive skill sp, only three passives in reincarnation, mastery and revenge.
I hope that the gungnir skills can be duration-buffed at least

i dont understand the 15 second duration thing on blast? anyone care to give an explanation ._. And does anyone know if blast also gets the 100% ignore element resistance because of how its worded in skill table and if the charge stack with blast. Can anyone confirm if paladins lost Guardian, from what im getting it appears we haven't lost guardian(thank god if its true)

Guardian is gone.
The block rate from Guardian was transferred to Shield Mastery (which didn't stack to begin with).
10% less status/ele resist compared to the old Guardian, and not affected by CO.

I thought the 110% was just a multiplier of your max HP. So it's 443% + 1.1*Max HP

My first 200 was a Dark Knight too. Long ass time ago though, I tried to dislike these changes but as I was translating I thought they were pretty cool.

I like what they did with the Magician ultimates - giving them special effects while on cooldown. That's a great way to make them useful.

i wonder if blasts also ignores 100% elemental resistance because how Void element says

Maxes blog translated it to your charge skills(meaning flame/ice/lightning/holy) only works with Void Element

I'm not 100% sure how Cross Over Chain works. It says up to 100% Total Damage. That sounds way too high. I might make a Dark Knight to test this myself, if there's time. Unless [MENTION=5537]Locked[/MENTION] wants to come back to MapleStory.

They did before some update, can't remember which, made Paladins be completely neutral to bosses / mobs with resistances.

Piercing through looks nice enough,, but with impale, beholders roar thinguie, it seems useless past third job
Spear pulling is 450 px over pierces 350, so it should be even better if you ohko with it, corners and stuff like that, i see more use to it than i do to piercing.
Not liking lamancha, it having 1 attack means that fast2 impale vs hold down 120 speed would be 1865 vs 1258. And thats not counting the long delay on lamanchas last hit, impales sixth hit, or impale hyper. If i got the math right.
Hits 10 guys and around you, guess its good for boss summons if you're standing on the boss? Dunno.
Revenge vs domiNation, guess youd wait for the attack from hex then use domi, doubt the summon attacks slower than one attk per second, if it does... Smh.
If crossover and gungnir add your current hp to your damage (you have 50 k hp, you do +50000 damage) ill punch a baby.
We cant keep constant sacrifice though, or did i miss something (id think you need beholder out to use it)
Man, these skills couldnt be any less explicit f3

After comparing and contrasting the mages in Max's Blog my brother's verdict is in:
"I/L got the short end of the stick. It's as if someone thought that F/P still were in some sort of need of buff and were inferior. While the numbers probably don't show a nerf, it sure feels like one.
25% Damage v. 25% Critical Rate? No contest. Especially if different ice attacks are necessary to keep the X5 counter up. Think about it, am I really going to have to use Ice Strike or Cold Beam or any of those lesser skills in my attack sequence? If it contributed DoT or 5% Damage, I might consider it, 5% Critical Rate? Nope.
Ignite v. Chilling Step? At best, a wash at worse another loss.
Slime Virus v. Thunder Storm? I can't answer this without knowing the speed of either, but there's definitely a lean towards Thunder Storm.
Mana Burn v. Frozen Break? Do bosses even have MP anymore? Keeping MP Eater was a weird move, especially keeping it over Seal. I guess Frozen Break wins, 5% Ignore M. DEF though, really?
Elemental Adapting (F/P) v. Elemental Adapting (I/L)? I suspect 80% regeneration of the shield is more useful than 15 seconds of status resist, how many times might one be inflicted in that 15 seconds?
Paralyze v. Chain Lighting? What happened here? I/L obviously too stronk and fast. Nerf pl0x.
Flame Haze v. Frozen Orb + Freezing Breath? One-on-two, easy victory! Nope. If what you said JoeTang said is true (1 attack per 1.8 seconds and slow cast) + purely support (I can't attack), then this is the most lopsided challenge yet. I bet that debuff effect isn't even 15% PDR/30% MDR per second, they brought back the old defense system in jest just to spite me. Of course if I can help knock PDR to 0%, find me a guild or a party please, let's be support! Let's get to that Flame Haze though, did they just give F/P GC? No friend, they just gave F/P a stronger version and it has DoT! That and F/P still have ME,  .
[He forgets to mention that losing GC in an attack sequence also might cost the PDR that it had inherent in it. I suspect GC might also get a nerf, it's a pretty powerful 3rd Job Skill, I think.]
Bonus Round!
Ifrit v. Elquines? I think they tossed the Future Perion kawaii all over these guys. So they both lose, but why is Elquines made of fire, an apparently hotter fire than Ifrit, who knows? I guess he doubly loses since he's about to melt.
Back to the last sentence of the first paragraph. I'm not sure if there is even a buff in there, 25% Critical Rate, 20% Status Resist and I bet that even if you collected all the damage from the new skills together, they barely edge out CL + GC as it is currently constituted. Find me or link me to an updated Magician damage table when it comes up, I want to see if I'm right, I'll be farming."

Yeah... the i/L skills look really awesome, but the damage we lose is definitely unnecessary.
Everything looks fine until you get to 4th job.
Even Bishops are apparently stronger than we are. o_o wat
I hope they do a little bit more tweaking...
