Anyway, might be just a problem on my side, but:
DO NOT RELEASE MONSTERS USING THE INFO BOX IN YOUR BARN. Doing that may cause a wrong monster to be released.

Also, to quickly harvest from buildings, just hold the Enter key as you click buildings. Some people probably know this already, but just figured I'd say it anyway.

they are homunculi. Seems once you get to 14 or so you have to start doing the repeatable quests and stuff for exp to help level. The fairy one seems bugged. I've played with well over 10 and never got credit for one.

Huh, now I seem to be back to disconnecting every time I leave my farm ._.

And yeah, I've noticed some quests use a different name-set for monster types. One example was 'Demihuman' instead of 'Non-human'.

Has anybody else had the "special" shop show up yet? I got it once when I started the game (back when I couldn't afford anything) and haven't gotten it since. It had really good buildings for like 20,000 Waru and some tickets, can't remember what they did though

Yeah, I've gotten it to show up once. It's at a low chance and based on luck. When you rollover your decoration value on the top there, it shows you some of the stats for your farm. I'm guessing the line where it says "Special merchant appearance: x%" is referring to the special shop.
My farm is at Lv10 at the moment, and have a 3% chance for that.

I've seen three special shops so far. Basically they sell gem items (mostly buildings) for warus, at the rate of 1 gem = 60,000 warus or so. They also contain monster boxes that contain high tier monsters.

To this, I'd say check that it really is Play and not Nurture. I'm not saying you're dumb, I'm just saying I'm dumb.

I have, most of my items were Waru versions of the Gem buildings. Stereo's spreadsheet even lists a few the buildings. I totally forgot about that and missed my chance to help out, for example, I had one of the teddy bear houses for ~290K but no exact number, sorry. I was facepalming all-around because I had no idea I should have that much lying around.

There was also a Lackluster Box for 100,000 Waru that contains a C-A rank SPECIAL monster.

How the hell can people even make that much Waru. Wow.

Repeatable quests are working just fine, but the next story quest still won't show up.... I never noticed this before, but just clicking a monster automatically nurtures them. What's odd is that there's no warning when you do that.

Dammit, I've been busy for the next few hours only to make a Golem-type monster and nurture it! I've combined like 40 monsters already and it's driving me insane! How the hell do I make one fast? >.<

I was lagging and accidentally duped some buildings lol
Basically you can place a building you only have 1 of multiple times if it's lagging.

I think the fake one disappears if you try to reposition it but I can't figure out which of my buildings are fake and which ones are real.

I hate that special shop, just taunting me.

i experimented with that earlier before, nexon did a good job, it doesn't provide waru either, and if you "storage" the building, it gets deleted. you can use that to know.

All the fake ones disappeared when I went back in so I guess that saves me a lot of trouble.

there's a quest that says "play with fairies" even if I play with them... they dont count as quest log

Another dumb question: there's no way to move a monster to a different farm, right?
If I have a monster I don't want, all I can do is release it. Can't sell, trade, or gift to someone else?
