Monster Life Farm Name Thread

I get "You have already played with this monster today. Try again tomorrow or play with another monster.." every time I try to play with a monster.
I have yet to successfully play with any monster because of this, so I don't understand. What am I doing wrong? :O

My farm has a Cellion and Jr Cellion on it right now if anyone wants cats. I can't get any more monsters at the moment because I don't have enough waru. Is there a surefire way to level up/gain waru fast?


EDIT: I'm getting more cats now I am content in being a crazy cat person.

Have you checked if the monster you are trying to play with has 20/20 plays? you can't play with them if they are maxed out.

Check the numbers above the card of the monster, XX/20. That indicates how many times its been played with, a lot and I mean a lot are already 20/20, especially those needed for the main quests.

You can just look in the book yourself to find that list. o_O There's no real need to look at that...

i thought you needed the monster to be able to see the fusions D: disregard then

only certain special category monsters have specific combinations to acquire them, the rest are all random.

Most intriguing to me is the Mirs - entirely obtainable without 'special box'es - you just need the SS dragon (Manon) and SS pig (Lupin Pig), both of which you can get through regular combinations to make a Baby Mir (5 att/matt). Then two Baby Mirs makes a Teenage Mir (20 all) and 2 Teenage Mirs makes a Full-Grown Mir (5% status resist)

Still gonna be a huge pain to build up to the SS dragon/pigs but it's at least doable without NX, hopefully.


Has anyone been keeping track of rates of getting different ranks? I've mostly been getting 1 lower, eg. 2 Bs = 1 C, 2 B+s = 1 B. Still no luck getting anything above a B+ here.

I have undead...A lot of fucking undead, well at least I have 4 B ranked ones.

i have two crockies now lol. it keeps giving me LIZARDS.

there is probably like a 50% chance of getting the same type of the one you are using, 35% chance of getting the type of the monster you are combining with and 15% chance of getting one thats completely different. And it's probably 85% chance of getting the same if you combine 2 of the same types.

That's just guesses from my experiences.

Either I'm unlucky or these numbers vary depending on the two types.

I combined about 10 Toys (mine) + Dragons, and got 8 toys, 1 dragon, 1 spirit.
Whereas when I tried the same thing with pigs, I got a pig on about the 3rd try.


In any case, as a public service I can now announce the following farms:
PigOnly
DragonOnly

Both have 6 of the type indicated, for whatever purposes you need a bunch of either for. Mostly Cs but I think one B each.

Hopefully other people can contribute similar farms of the other types. I'll continue the project later anyway but I don't have 22 accounts so I can't hit every type.

CloneLab is all canines.
Drizzle has 6 cats.

Not mine, but AlienPark has 5 Non-Humans (higher-end) while thegardenofl has 6 low-end Non-Humans.

Edit 1:Sorry if I'm spamming or if 4 just isn't enough to warrant listing, but I want somewhere to keep this info and share it with my brother who is looking out for specifics. Fiery has 4 B or better Soldiers.

I spent around 20k waru combining my rank B+ with other Rank B and haven't gotten anything higher than a B+.
Also a side question... I know the effects die out in 30 days, but do the monsters go with it?

No they dont.

There's a variable called "Combine" set to 15 with a bunch of other constants related to Monster Life, like "Care", which is set to 3 (which is your nurture limit), and "Play", which is set to 20 (the play limit), so I'm gonna guess 15 per monster.

They shouldn't. I believe Girasol confirmed this in one of the Monster Life threads here.
