Monster Life reactions

What is this supposed to do, exactly? Cause I can't seem to get it to do anything.

Fairly frustrated by the fact that there are 23 types of monsters and only a few slots so I have to keep releasing my pets to make room to do quests.

I was expecting the monsters to be a more permanent thing - 30 days of usefulness makes it feel like they're all doomed from the start, so why nurture them. Unless there's something other than combining (which expires) and potential (which expires) that makes them worth having.



Aside from quests my grinding has mostly been the +10 exp you get for nurturing new C-grade pets that I've just combined. Not sure how much more of that I want to do.

Was Clara always this condescending in KMS?

The more I do this the more I want JMS' 3 familiar profession and neo Tokyo familiars. Or at least turn the unacquirable neo Tokyo familiars into neo city familiars ;~;
All I see are neo city mobs around and it makes me think I could have had familiars of this qq.

But you don't get the bonuses for monsters in your barn, do you? If you don't, that's 18/23 different abilities you can use w/o bumping up the number of spaces with nx.

It's still a nifty amount, though without having extra spaces, you'd always have to let go of your monsters if you ever want to try getting something better.

Speaking of the barn though, does it ever increase it's space past 1?(Besides using nx for it, I mean.) My farm's level 7, and therefore only have 1 space in my barn atm.

No, bonuses inside the barn don't count.


The 10% chance of FA regenerating +10 hp or +10 mp seems like a pretty useless bonus anyway. Likewise the wdef/mdef, and a bunch of other bonuses.

I'm loving the characters

'Hungry Hot' asks me to plant a big pine tree.
I planted one and it didn't complete.
I went out, bought another, planted it, and it still didn't complete.
I took them out and replanted. No dice.

How do people get so much waru / exp? Gah!

I managed to finish the quest by planting a Pine Tree rather than a Big Pine Tree.

Methinks it only wants the medium one. It probably means to say "the next biggest tree" after the previous quest.

Clara is my favorite. Annoying, but I still love her.

I actually got quite a few easy story quests in a row and leveled my farm twice.

But, for some reason, after completing the 'play with 3 plants for some exp and a free trash can' quest, I'm not getting any new quests. I've only completed 62 or 63 quests, so I know there are more left. I'll wait until after midnight before I start worrying too much. Maybe the next quest will pop up then...

Midnight just passed.
I assume everyone and their grandmother is rushing to combine with the most desirable monsters, get the daily gifts, get a head start on play-with quests, etc.

Hmm I still can't continue with the story quests. The last one I completed was called 'A Clean Break.' Anyone have issues after completing that quest?
