Glitchy as hell & I keep getting d/ced still.

Hi guys,

We have applied a fix to the Monster Life servers. Please try again and let us know if you experience any further disconnect/crashing issues.

Those of you currently receiving the "account ID already logged in" issue may need to wait another 30 minutes before logging in again after we applied these changes. Please let us know if the issue persists past that, however.

well, it's been 4 hours and...



additional info:

i logged in sometime around midday, i got as far as character select, after inputting my pic the game crashed on me, i've been getting that notice all day after that on that specific account, my mule account was perfectly able to log in and play a few hours ago.

the blocked account is the one with the character "shinkudragon" i can't go past that screen in the SS if i use the gamelauncher, and i can't get past channel select if logging in through the site.

By the way, to people who can't play, just log on from a world in an alliance, and it seems to work from there... If you get the error 38.

Still, feels stupid to have to change worlds every time I want to check that.

For those of you experiencing Error Code 38...no ETA but that is a separate issue than Monster Life. You should be able to log into other characters on the same world, however...

For those of you experiencing disconnects in Monster Life...we would really appreciate more info. I need IGN, World and what you were doing at the time you experienced the disconnect.

Like what happened to ShinkuDragon, the game hung and crashed just after I input the pic. Then when I restarted, I got the 'already logged in' message, for about 2 hours now. I hope we aren't locked out until next weeks server check, like how it often was when this problem happened a year or two ago. It's rather a bizzarre problem considering that the server will normally kick me if the internet drops out for more than a few seconds.
Edit: Wanted to add, this had nothing to do with Monster Life; I never got that far on the locked-out account.
Monster life worked fine on another account though.

so I uh checked my Cash shop today just now and saw I have ZERO nx prepaid or credit. Seems to have happened with a friend of mine. This can't be good. I tried looking up my history and nothing is showing up...

Also doing the dice game. Some quests seem to just mess up and not allow you to finish. The quest doesnt show up either in your quest log so you can't forfeit it.

I haven't had any issues after the maintenance. One of the annoying things is trying to finish the story line quests, and not having the right type of monsters to nurture. I guess I'll try getting a Plant monster tomorrow.

Add me to the list of sufferers of "ID already logged in for extended periods of time." I hope the maint that Girasol mentioned actually comes tonight.

I was playing maple fine relog a couple times then i got hit with the already login bug.

Same. The board game thinks I have little black draco's quest active (to get a capsule to go to Whiteout Mountain), but the capsule won't drop and the quest does not show in the quest log (so it can't be forfeited).

Hmmm game board still glitched. This isn't good =(

Isn't there anyway to get rid of/minimize that "Personalize your farm - MONSTER LIFE" UI Window that's floating, blinking and jumping there and annoying the heck out of me?

Possibly not Monster Life related, but my game has closed 7 9 times in the past 25 minutes. I've been trying to unequip some tradeable items from my Dual Blade to put them in storage and Monster Park on my Chief Bandit, and unequipping, putting in storage/removing from storage and equipping items seems to force my game to close. I get no error message, it just closes.

I've not had this problem before. :|

Now I'm getting ID already logged in, I haven't been in Monster Life all day on the affected account. Argh.

After the recent two USCs, Monster Life is now working fine for me. Loading time is really fast (though I still crash like 5% ~ 10% of the time upon attempting to visit my farm). It's quite fun actually, and the lower tier potentials aren't very hard to renew.

I kinda appreciate that they added in a new way to waste time in MapleStory... for me at least. I play mostly for events, and Monster Life definitely provided me with stuff to do during the 30 boring minutes of wait. I'm not sure how much longer I will enjoy Monster Life, but hey, it's not like I have to pay for it or something.

The storyline quests start to become very difficult after a while though.

Also, is nurture limit for each monster daily?

Btw, I also noticed that you can also use arrow keys to move around. That's a bit more convenient that moving your mouse cursor to the edge of the screen.

It is, and the count resets at midnight.

Anyone know how to complete that play with another person's plants quest? i dont think the pine trees actually do anything, what kind of plants am i supposed to click on?
