Conspiracy: Empress equips from boxes cap at 1 per day (GMS)

I am fairly sure in a later patch they raised the rate of getting empress; possibly by a significant amount. It was on Max's blog iirc.

No, I wasn't intending to imply that. I was curious, since I got a mage cape earlier, but I ended up checking the fm, and they're like 500-700mil, here in Windia anyways.

Really? Did you even look in the FM the day before the boxes were able to give Empress equipment? Every piece of armor deflated to about half its original value, and that's JUST in anticipation for it.

And I also said I couldn't see it being that way for that long as well... And so what if it did anyway? There are plenty of different ways to make income. Be it actually scrolling said empress or being creative with other items, I'm sure you higher ups could have thought of something. But I digress.

Some people have more time to spend in real life and less time to dedicate to maple, so I was hoping for the anniversary to make it a bit easier for people like myself. I do have plenty of way to make income, but none so significant to buy empress for all the characters of mine that need it before Unlimited hits and possibly bars of all future opportunities of getting it in the first place. And really, is the part where they wouldn't be that way forever getting through? You act as if it'd be the end of empress prices for good if we were able to get a random piece of empress for free a day. And that in itself only last about a month and a half. I'll grant you that not all empress is expensive, but the vast majority of people aren't made of money.

It's end game in that it's the set that most people aim for, and what most top-tier players still use a mix of.
How much time someone spends on the game is no one's problem. If you want something in this game, roll up your sleeves and work for it.
I realize they wouldn't be that way forever, but it would hurt the prices hard enough that it would cause everything to the deflate to the point that they would never return to their original prices. Look at all the free items that we've received in the past: Lord Pirate Chairs, Soul Teddy Chairs, Lvl 10 Branch Noses, Tempest Accessories, Confusion Fragments, etc. None have ever returned to their original prices, and aren't even worth a fraction of what they were before the events came.

You have to be devoted to the game if you want to get anything, even if it's not very expensive. If players don't want to devote themselves to the game, then that's their loss, but they DO NOT deserve multiple set of gear for free for it.

Tempest equips still aren't even back to being a third of the value they were before, and you seriously think that every single player in the GAME getting an equip per character a day would simply be "temporary"? Yeah, no, prices would be pomegranate pretty much for good. And Nexon makes money off of putting the empress equips in gachapon anyway, so why would they shoot themselves in the foot on that?

But... You could endlessly farm Tempest equips as much as you liked. Boxes were pretty common, and all of the equips that came from it were epic on reveal, not to mention non job specific. In the same way that you mention gachapon, Nexon could just as easily make money off of platinum karma scissors. So yes, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be like that forever. You haven't even given tempest equips a month to climb back up in price.

Considering here at Bellocan we sold Empress gloves for 5b and armor for 3b each when it was first released, I'd say 10-30m each is already stupidly cheap.

I could see Empress equips being 100m ea or more if Nexon actually dealt with hackers. There are a couple in every server that send multiple chars into Empress and CPB and hack them.
Whatever price they are at now is already pretty cheap. Also note that Empress V2s are about as profitable as the daily Evo runs right now. Anyone who needs money can go do that and get lots of coins and lots of materials for alchemy pots.

How much time someone spends on the game is no one's problem. If you want something in this game, roll up your sleeves and work for it.

Completely ignoring the fact that every single time there's a coin shop now, class specific mastery books are included. Mastery books are easy to get.

I don't care if you care or not. That doesn't change the fact that no one deserves anything for free, and that if you want something, you're going to have to work for it. Events are meant to be something fun to participate in and earn by working hard towards, not this stupid mentality of "Oh, you opened a few boxes that only took a few minutes to get? Here, have a free set of gear for doing nothing at all!" that you all seem to have.
Mastery Books are easily obtainable even without spending money on them if you put in the effort required to get them.

You poor people act like it's so impossibly hard to get anywhere in this game. It really isn't if you just stop being so damn lazy and learn how to be smart with your time and money.
Looking at the avatars of the characters you have listed in your signature, you could've saved a few hundred million just by not spending money on useless NX clothing, and instead used the money to buy better gear for yourself. Too many people waste too much money on crap they don't need.
