The walking animation seems a bit off, the arms are too stiff. Also, looks like gogoat gets horn leach. And more dynamic movement during battle (Helioptile's ears open when he attacked, although that is probably move dependent).

Finally we have flinching animations for getting hit by attacks, no more flashing sprites.

Ah, I see. Tbh I was secretly hoping it was some crazy bracelet thing that could create status effects/modifications to pokemon during battle or something

(and hopefully without too much random encounters)I was thinking the same thing ![]() Aside from the island off the coast, there doesn't seem to be as many water areas as past games, so the large amount of rivers kinda makes up for that. I've always loved rivers or bodies of water in routes in the older pokemon games, because it's always really exciting to go back there when you have surf and find lots of goodies and secret areas, So I hope there is lots of that in this game too! Anyway, there is some new rumours floating around: Quote:* the kalos region will have a major amount of pokemon introduced in one generation (Passing Sinnoh)Sauce Only rumours, take it with a grain of salt ect ect. There are LOTS more stuff in that link, including about gyms, rivals ect ect. Don't wanna copy it all here because it would be huge. Dragon/Rock T-Rex? pineapple YES. Fairy type Drifloon evolution? yes please! I like the idea of a Poison type legendary, if Fairy exists and is indeed weak to poison. The giant ruin squid thing sounds awesome. Xerneas and Yyvetal kind of make sense. ORIGINAL ORIGINAL sauce. Quote:Fletchling has one evolution, Normal/Flying, nothing spectacular. Looks like woodpecker, elongated beak, and carries on the arrow motif, with its body being very "sharp".Wat.

French Screen Shots.
Those rumours seem cool if true, the evolution parts at least. So many Pokemon need a good evolution. Also Snorlax as a fairy type, that would be awesome. Niernen Wrote:The walking animation seems a bit off, the arms are too stiff. I think the walking looks okay and the sprinting seems fine. It's the weird fast walk/Slow sprint in between the two that looks odd.

Milotic a fairytype?! Oh man, I love milotic too! I wish they kept the whole beauty thing rather than TRADE WITH SCALE.
Colress Wrote:
I like it! i'm quite fond of Helioptile too, he's cute and has potential.... unless the rumours are correct and he doesn't have an evolution, then he's just another useless Pikachu ripoff. I think the frills on his head extend out wider than that when he attacks, still it's a very nice picture ![]() Kinda unrelated, but it annoys me that Helioptile has Normal as a second type. What is the actual point? the Normal type is like.. lack of an element... How can a fully electric creature designed around electricity have Normal as a second type? it's so pointless and tacked on. ANY other type would have been better suited. Then again, I suppose it gains an immunity and some extra STAB. Still, I dislike the idea of Normal as a secondary type. Normal/Electric would be a better fit if it's a normal creature... with some electric abilities.

MasPan, did you hear that?
If the rumors are true, we're getting a Dunsparce evolution.
2013-05-15, 07:20 PM
Quote:Mawile, Sableye, Dunsparce, Bannette, Tauros, Heracross, Pinsir, Bisharp, Maractus, Cryogonal and Drifloon will have new evolution's. Meanwhile Lickitung, Throh/Sawk (a shared pre-evolution) and Absol will get a pre-evolution. I really don't see the need to give all those Pokemon evolutions. |
