Magatia Quests: Opinions

Today I finished all my Magatia quests. All of them in one day.

I must say, I'm really amazed. The storyline behind them.. is WONDERFUL.

I mean, NEXON surely had a lot of fantasy with making these stories..

Seriously, I'm simply amazed. Alcadno, Zenumist, all the stuff with Dr. De Lang and the Black Magician.. wow.

In the end, some of them were quite "hard" but the effort was undoubtedly rewarded.

In the end, I chose to give De Lang's notes to the Fairy. I think it was the right thing to do. Neither Carson of Alcadno or Maed of Zenumist deserved to get them, because they hid the truth too long.

Not only that, with all the EXP I got from the quests, I also levelled! I must admit NEXON did a great job with Magatia's quests. I'm really looking forward more storyline about the Black Magician.

What do you think about them?

The last quest, after you give his notes to one of the three, was the best in my opinion.

The one were you give Keeny the medicine from humanoid A and you find out that he's really Dr. De Lang. That was a sweet ending. And Keeny's trying to make her daddy human again. It's just touching. ;_;

I really enjoyed all the immensely. It was well worth the wait and the storyline was amazing, the best in the game so far I would say. If you did catch a hint towards Masteria, then you know what's coming. ^^

I figured as much when I first heard of what De Lang was trying to do. Just because they look pretty much exactly the same! D: D:

I don't like the fact that there are 3 Re-Acquiring Dr. De Lang's Notes quests because I didn't get a chance to do them.

I do agree the story behind the quests were cool but going to El Nath and Magatia back and forth got annoying.

As for who was wrong or right, for a long time I preferred the Zenumists, they were supposed to be the true alchemists in pursuit of knowledge. But then when you look at all of the Alcadno: Maed fixed his eye with technology, Russelon was run out of the Zenumists because he was injured, and the Alcadno saved him. De Lang was also run out of the Zenumist for similar reasons. The Zenumist guy was just about sabotaging the Alcadno, and Carson wanted to burn the notebook.
Even at the end, Maed was willing to admit he was wrong. Carson didn't do that. So in actuality, I think the Alcadno are a much better group than the Zenumists...

I really like the story so far, but since I'm only lvl68 right now and I decided to drop my capes for those 2 quests(bad idea, now I need to get 5 emeralds/topazes) so I can't do any new quests right now.

Well I'm not level 75 yet so I can't complete all of them, but the stories for the ones I have completed (All the ones under level 58 ) are intriguing. I love the intricacy.

How could you not tell? Humanoid A and De Lang both have gigantic foreheads.

I like the quests, I need to level up once more to finish them.

About Re-acquiring Dr. De Lang's Notes.

Here's how you do all three:

what if i start the quest "For Zenumist", drop the notes, and re-acquire them. then, i will forfeit "For Zenumist", and start "For Alcando". drop the notes, re-acquire them, forfeit, start "For Phyllia". drop the notes, re-acquire them, end the quest "For Phyllia" since its the one i want to do.

Basically:

[*]Start "For Zemunist"
[*]Drop Dran's Notes
[*]Go to Alcaster and start/complete the quest "Re-Acquiring Dr. De Lang's Notes"

I got the ores in ten minutes at kPQ Ch 1. xD

I'm only level 51, so no real quest there for me. :[
