The skill's actual name is Hidden Piece and not Hidden Peace. You might not know this though unless you spoke to Checky!

Well, as I said this is hilarious mainly because it almost seems to make sense because of the description but it hardly does if you read the quest dialogue by Checky. It's quite remarkable in that sense!

Apparently they didn't fix the phased out skillbooks in their "rigged" gachapon system... I'm not sure if KMS does have that hilarious mishap like us or not...

KMS doesn't have Gachapon, though I'm not sure if the one they call Pigmy (Something like that...) is about the same.

In real life, gachapon machines do run out of rewards. In Maple, gachapon machines are infinitely loaded with lucrative rewards, in which the lucrative comes from our pockets.

My cape makes it look like i've got a floppy broken arm. Kinda hard to take a screenshot of, but it's more noticeable in game

Indeed. Same with EMS, last I remember.
You have to buy Pigmy-Food (at a small meso-price. It's also useable as Pet-Food, but it's more expensive.), and give it to Pigmy, a Flying Pig NPC, that is in every town.
He will give you a pigmy-egg.
You can Breed this Pigmy-egg with an Incubator from the Cashshop. These are the Gacahpon-Coupons.
Every town has a different egg, and every egg has a different reward. So if that item only came from Henesys Pigmy, you have to breed a Henesys Egg.

I also belive there was some kind of 5-eggs-per-town-per-day limit, back then in EMS, Pre-Pirates and Pre-Cygnus.
