The exp benefit (vs normal mobs) to these dungeons is more noticeable when you're over lv 120, I'm told.
Most normal mobs aren't even trained on anyway. PQs, LHC, Stronghold, Monster Park, Evo world and Dimension invade all give superior experience to those dungeons.
Also i am pretty sure it does not close. I *remember* going in with it to see what it was after the spinel mirror's went away.
