Oh well either way it just looks like you guys are investigating all transactions, not just the ones that might involve hacked mesos.

Given a random character that was involved in a transaction, name one metric that can reliably determine the likelihood of the traded goods being malicious. One.
As far as you know, I'm not innocent and as far as I know, neither are you. As far as Nexon is concerned, no one is. And I'm not just talking about being unknowingly involved, I'm talking deliberate malicious intent.

Shutting the game down, unless it helps expedite the investigation, is a childish sentiment. "I can't get the toy so no one else may play with it." If you want the problem resolved instead of being swept under the rug, deal with one of the two outcomes: rollback or tradeblock. You'd rather have a rollback? Too bad someone else prefers tradeblock and there is no good reason why Nexon (or even I, if put in their shoes) should or would favor your or their preference over the other's. The decision may be arbitrary, but it happened. Deal with it.

Yeah that's exactly why they're investigating everything.
Not terribly efficient, especially since they missed some accounts with hacked goods with the block, but oh well.

One of my guildies brought up the possibility that they could be going through the accounts in alphabetical order, which I think may be true, because my account starts with the an S and his starts with a W and we're both still hell banned.

I highly doubt it, my friends and my acc are relatively early in the alphabet - C and G, and yet we're still hellbanned.

If you were trade blocked, please check again if you haven't after the Wednesday afternoon and evening maintenances and let us know the results - while the trade block reviews and release were separate from the maintenance, a large number of releases happened during that same timeframe. If the trade block is still present on your account and you feel that it is in error, please submit a ticket if you haven't already, and please post in this thread the name of one of your characters and the world that it's in like so:

Well most of the problem accounts didn't even get hit by the tradeblock in the first place, so not like removing mesos would change the fact that the economy's still fucked.

there are those that didn't get hellbanned and should have after taking in items from a hacker that dropped androids/mounts from an item generator. I've been keeping track of them and they've already sold the items off cheaply. What else can I do other than just report and move on sort of >.>

Looks like none (or few) of the generated items have been deleted... the FM is full of android coupons and permanent mount coupons. Doesn't look like meso has been deleted either.
Once again going to say a rollback would have been a better solution. ._.
