That makes me wonder how I survived it. I have 7.3k mdef and was hit by it, and survived with about 30k HP from 1260700. I assume if the tank keeps it from rotating they get hit more than a few times as it spins?

Just did SDN reg; servers pooped on me right at the end of cannons so I ended up being sub tank (mostly standing on the side doing nothing? lol) until the saint died, so I ran over and took his place and lasted until the end of the run without dying

Grats. Sorry about having to leave yesterday, but it wasn't something I could ignore.
About rotating breath, I think if you run up to the dragon as much as you can during the screen-blurring roar but before it flies, you'll probably only take about 1-3 hits with the rest of the attack passing behind you. I remember something like that happening to my Saint when I tried to assist the tank by using relics to block ice cage. I might have sheathed my weapon in order to run faster, though. But maybe Shield Charge might be able to replicate the same kind of effect.

If you're under him, most commonly referred to as his belly, you'll dodge RB. My engi can tank a good portion of normal SDN's RB if I get caught out.
Try talking to Tautology or WEXES. Those are my 2 favorite pallys that I know that are really good at what they do. They can probably give you some tips on how to tank SDN. In a good party nowadays, you just need to know how to keep dragon facing one way, not trigger black hole 24/7, and do a good job during rotating. Some groups try and do tankless and do fine because there's enough party skills to keep people alive during rotate so they can run fast enough.
The ultimate goal is being able to do SDN HC without tonics as a paladin + doing everything I said above. Obviously without dying unless it's not your fault e.g. ice age killing you and no one saves you.
Btw your skill crest, for SDN/pvp you want to get toadstool mushroom strike. If you can't get that, get apoc tentatcle or poochum strike for SDN. Otherwise get manti ball for GDN/general usefulness.

This patch has a lot of smaller things though, which can really add up. Also, GDN HC and Suffix III being released in one patch means we only need Kali left before 60 cap, which makes me estimate the release of 60 cap to most likely be in July this year. Unless Nexon is stupid enough to host another Guild Rumble when 90% of the community is against that idea, and we KNOW Nexon only uses it as a filler event to delay actual content patches.
Also yay for Guardian buffs! Although the PvP changes are a bit lacking... They're only going up to kDN Feburary, not including the March and April changes that people actually care about.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about...

See Post #49. We're only getting like 20% of the changes listed there, because most of the major changes happened in the past month and a half. As in, we're only getting the changes in the first three links, not the latter two. The most obvious example is freeze damage amplification being reduced to 30% instead of 10%, because that got nerfed twice in kDN.

Dragon Nest 2 in early development. The next game is expected to have open world and realism compared to its predecessor.

About a full year. kDN is expected to be getting Level 70 cap within the next two months as well.
There's already new skill data for Mystics.

Dragon Nest 2... Bit early to announce that if it won't even be ready for testing for two years, heh. Not really worried about how it may affect the first DN though. Chances are if it ever gets localized here, it's going to be renamed. Might even be in a totally different style. Isn't Vindictus actually known as Mabinogi Heroes overseas? Vindi and Mabi seem to be as different as night and day despite Vindi being a prequel.
Open world is kinda intriguing. You can see hints that the devs originally wanted DN to be open world, what with the weather effects in the Carderock areas. They pretty much vanish by Saint's Haven and beyond.
EDIT: Changed link, original thread starter split it into a different thread.

Wow that was way easier than I expected. Got really lucky with the ogre not paralyzing me at a bad time though.

Set your main character on the website, people. 3 Dragon Eggs to the selected character.

All the servers except Leviatha are merged, and I don't think there is anyone on Southperry who plays in Leviatha.
Anyway, since I don't want to double post

SDN people generally just find randoms or ask guildmates to come. No one really has perma teams nowadays.
As for GDN norm, you need a little bit better stats. Is all your stuff suffix II/III and almost perfect sparks?

Ouch, man. On the bright side, GDN Terminator should be the best title for phys classes like yours.

I'd say you're almost GDN-worthy. You just need to lose some phys in favor of magic (since ward of the spirits turns all of your phys skills into magic) and get about 10k more HP, then you're golden with a good group.

GDN 5man makes me sad. Was so close to getting it tonight. Vines into fire trapped our pally who was busy saving people. He couldn't make it T___T
And the fact the nest is glitchy as hell makes it just more frustrating.
