Candies/Candy Box Discussion [[SPOILERS]]

I think the text in your spoiler box is the most confusing thing i've ever read. is this what it's like for people who don't play KoL and hear people talking about?

And I guess so. I never got into Kingdom of Loathing, but I enjoy this one.

I opened the link, then forgot about it. Came back to 16,000 Candies. Candy Diamond Sword instantly and a ton of potions and stuff. Died in the Underwater Cove because I was paying more attention to Monster Hunter than what my guy was doing in the Candy Box.

Making a lolipop a minute in the farm, but not really sure what else to do while waiting for more candies cause I wasted them all.

I have to agree with that completely.

I can't pass the * at the castle level. I heard that you need boots and a berseker potion but I'm all out of berseker potion and already used the wishing well.

The boots definitely (iirc they're in a chest in the forest), other than that, bring a lot of HP potions and you'll eventually get through. I've had as much as 15k candies earned before I got past the *. I forget the exact order stuff happens in but an enchanted sword also makes it easier.

I upgraded my Sword of Summoning to maybe Draugr level before I could finish that stage. The trick is to play with your teleport scrolls, boots (if you have them) and berserker potions such that you can make for a mad rush to the entrance (i.e. only have a few enemies on the field, try to be close when you use berserker, etc).

Strangely addictive. Started yesterday, been playing since then.

Finished the game, now I'm just waiting for Lollipops to explore the bugs.

If there's a 100 blp or a trillion lp bug, let me know, cause I'm too lazy to grind that much just to test. Also the 10 blp bug screwed me over a bit.

Once you farm enough you get 100lp/min, which makes it easy to get a trillion lp.

EDIT: Wow, the castle entrance is hard. I enchanted my sword with my Fire Scroll too, maybe I should have done the health potion...

I did, I'm almost out of those.

Just waiting to make the 350klp upgrade now.

Bug 3 has different effects, one of them being the ability to multiply your candies by 3. Also, if you leave the Candy Converter on, it sometimes converts all of your Candies into Lollipops at once. Combine the two, and you eventually get ridiculous amounts of Lollipops.

Does the lollipop farm cap at 100? I feel like i wasted a lot of lollipops on it.

100/sec seems to be the cap. I brought mine to like 250k in hopes that it would change but didn't.

Ah I see... I got like 3 'it did nothing' in a row so I stopped trying that bug.

What do the different sword enchantments do? Fire, Health, Imp??
