We should leave Acknologia out of the argument, he is the king of dragons and the strongest mofo as its been described, his involvement with FT wouldn't help us to measure the capabilities of a dragon.

You might be right, I forgot about the dragon scales, but I was basing my argument on the power levels involved and Sting and Rogue specifically. For instances, if Rogue and Sting were trully capable of killing their dragons, people like Makarov, Juura, Kagura, and such should be able to aswell. Then you have middle levels like Grey, Juvia, Orga, Rufus, Bacchus, Leon, Sherry, Blue Pegasus, etc, which should be able to team up and do the same. If you add on all the rest, well, they can either get on the way or actually help.

But you can be right, maybe after 400 years, the Strength of a dragon has weakened and these ones from the past are way stronger, or a specific type of magic is needed to break their scales regardless of its strength, or the mages are just too weak to put a fight after the tournament. I don't know where this manga is going.

Might not be a chapter this week. Either that, or none next week (Ugh golden week).

Slight spoilers for anyone who didn't watch the Key of the starry skies anime only arc (As if we needed any more confirmation that it was canon), but wants to be filled in.
Though I think you should go watch the arc, it was pretty good.

He had a change of heart at the end of that, after he discovered that his snake (Kinana) didn't die in the Oracion seis arc. So it makes more sense that he would agree to help.

However, he actually struggled to use his dragon slaying magic without Kinana when he fought erza. I wonder if his change of heart will have given him his strength back.

Edit: I guess if one of the dragons is poison type, that could also give him his strength back.

Oh look, this dragon was Weißlogia. I hope he plays a bigger part in the story (even though he's dead) since he's the white dragon, opposite to Acnologia.

You mean Rogue? Nah. Or you mean Zeref? Again nahhh. IDK what role Zeref really plays but for all we've seen so far Acknologia is the real badguy and Zeref might have been framed somehow.

First thing i thought when i read that.

Seems to that this is probably how 1st gen slayers are supposed to get Dragon force. Probably for 2nd and 3rd gen slayers too, since when Cobra/Laxus used Dragon force, only their arms grew scales, presumably the whole body is supposed to, as compared to Rogue/Sting who gain a noticable amount of scales, though still not covering them entirely.

Presumably, the more dragon blood they bathe in, the more scales they get upon using dragon force, and ultimately they become a dragon like acnologia.

I loved this chapter; lots going on and seeing everyone together is wonderful. Natsu's been impressive lately, too. Though I'm more excited about present and future Rogue meeting up (and holy crap Cobra is back)!

New chapter's out and I am not sure what to make of the surprising revelation that people taste better when they're eaten with no clothes on. It just sounds like an excuse to do *Cough* fanservice to me.

This chapter is beyond rock bottom even for him.

He needs to hire a writer and just do the drawing.

Well zirconis was known to be a pervert from the last time we saw him right? I agree with shippo though, totally unnecessary.

That's the thing, we already know he was a pervert so there was no need to dedicate a good part of the chapter to naked shenanigans. /face in hands

There's also the thing that he needs to justify wendys decision to use her magic to kill a dragon she is already familiar with in a non-violent setting. He could have just mortally wounded someone and done the same thing though...

He could have also made good on his threat to eat them and chomp on some random person, which would have taken a lot less pages and have less blatant fan and anti-fanservice. In spite of how powerful Zirconis must be to magically remove clothes from the masses it's just difficult to take the threat seriously when everyone's trying to not look at each other.
