After 3000+ special circulators, the RNG throws this at me,

Since it would be silly to re-circ over this, I guess I'm going to have to give up on the +1 atk speed IA. :C

God damn it, I'm jelly. I'd re-circulate my 10% Boss Damage for a S-Rank Boss Damage line, but I don't think I'd get lucky again with only less than 200 Special Circulators on hand at the moment.

Unless you tell me that you have 100% boss damage right now, the benefit from +1 attack speed IA comes nowhere close to 20% boss damage.

At this very moment I have 108% Bonus damage from both Total damage and Boss damage. (Not counting the IA)

The speeds for CL are:
Normal(6): 780ms
Fast(4): 690ms <- Booster brings you here, I think.
Faster(3): 660ms
Faster(2): 600ms
Dunno what other speed boosts you have, but if you go from 4->3, the damage bonus is 690/660, which is only +4.5% damage, if you go from 3->2, the damage bonus is 660/600, which is +10% damage.
If you're going from Fast(4) -> Faster(3), the damage increase is only +4.5%, so you need more than 344% total damage for +1 Attack Speed to be better than +20% Boss.
If you're going from Faster(3) -> Faster(2), the damage increase is +10%, so you'd need more than 100% total damage for it +1 Attack Speed to be better than +20% Boss.
Also, don't forget Arcane Aim and Storm Magic, and possibly also Infinity, when counting total damage bonuses.

4->3 is an increase of 6.9%, 3->2 is 7.4%. You can't spam it though, can you? There's a bit of a delay isn't there? But the delay between each attack should be the same, I guess, so the damage bonus should at least be roughly the same.
From 4->3, you'd need more 189% damage for increased attack speed to be better than 20% boss, and more than 170% damage from 3->2.

The delay IIRC is a physical delay caused by something (I don't know what... animation maybe?) that stops you from spamming Chain-type skills (BaMs suffer from this too). If you want to spam Glacial Chains, then you should be using GC -> CL -> GC. I don't know why but this is what was observed over videos.

Thanks, like hadriel said, my brother observed that behavior relatively early so I was just going to average out the percent increases for him and proceed to tease him for circulating over his 17% Boss.

Well, I'd say 32% buff duration can't be USELESS. It can keep you from having to buff while training. XD

On the other hand, my Bishop does need quite a bit of a stat boost. This is interesting though, I may have do keep doing Aswan for coins so that my Phantom can get something nice after the rebalance is out.

I managed to get 14% boss damage using circulators from just leveling 1-30. How rare is this and should I aim for higher or leave as is? I'm a Kaiser btw.

Rare enough and good enough that you won't get a better DPS boost when bossing. For a very long time. Unless you tell me you have something like >50% boss/total, or you have terribad amounts of WA (eventually!) that a 20-ish WA IA gives you more DPS boost than many other things.

OK, I'm not going to post my inner ability just yet (I'm level 21 so what's the point  ) but, let's say I was to get critical rate 30% on my phantom, would it be useful to use SE anymore? or should I just stick with the two card combos?
