Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS)

Eh. Didn't exactly expect things to go this way, but once again Urahara is back from the shadows to save the day. Jeez, without Aizen or Urahara, there would not be any plot development in this story

This manga is just about a bunch of overly emotional spirits and two Magnificent Bastards.


Which is why I like it. I always get disappointed when something doesn't have at least one Magnificent Bastard in it.

Probably the most common idea is that either the hollow's ability or Masaki's power will somehow seal it (the hollow) in Masaki, and Isshin will impregnate her, and that results in Ichigo's triforce of hollow/quincy/soul reaper.

I feel like there'll also be a little flashback to when Masaki died. The Grand Fisher will be just derping around, and Ichigo's hollow awakens, scaring off the Fisher (who was probably curious as to why there was a high hollow energy?) and Masaki realizes this, and tries to protect Ichigo's hollow from completely awakening/escaping, dying in the process as the hollow cuts her and returns to Ichigo. Pretty stereotypical, but the whole Ichigo's self-guilt realization for his mother's death is too common of a theme in manga to pass up by Kubo.

Just my two cents on this chapter and upcoming ones.

Why would Ryuu need to give his powers to Masaki? She already has the powers of a Quincy.

I'm guessing the choice is given to Ryuu - to let the Soul Reaper save Masaki, or to let her just die. It seems that he's struggling with the whole concept of the Quincy's exclusiveness with his mother as well, and it's shown later (in the present) when he reprimands Uryu for hanging out with Soul Reapers (Who, in the form of Isshin, had caused Masaki to get gravely injured)

I'm guessing that Isshin is also severely weakened by this, and will have to retire from being captain in the Soul Society. The premonition is given by the innocent letter he left behind for Matsumoto to read, and I'm guessing he'll disappear off their radar after that. Matsumoto will cry, etc. and wonder why he's gone, and Hitsugaya will become the new captain.

I don't really see how it can go faster. This is about how Isshin and Masaki met, related to each other, fell in love, made Ichigo and how Aizen pineappleed it all up.

Forget what I said, I myself forgot the easiest way to go faster through this arc would be to skip it all together. Seems there will be no romance, no more character development and possibly not even more fights, just 3 people making their choices and time skip.

If he left just like that it wouldn't explain why Matsumoto, Hitsugaya and most of soul society seem not o remember Isshin or give a pineapple about him and Ichigo's connection to him.

I'm about to get disappoint. Sure I'd prefer if they went back to the main story and advanced it, but I had come to expect something great from this arc, not just taking all these good charactes, make them meet and then calling it over. That'd be really anticlimatic.

This chapter was pretty good. It shows how he began his life with her. I wonder if it will show when they fell in love.

Maybe by doing this, by saving a quincy, the society shuns him and erases him from history and the minds of the other shinigami?

I wasn't aware they could do that, but considering this is all pre-Ichigo's influence on SS, I guess it isn't farfetched to believe that Yamamoto is all crazy and s'hit.

Decent chapter overall imo.

Urahara made a vaccine to stop her from exploding, the hollow will consume Masaki nonetheless, Isshin will have to dedicate his life to bind the hollow soul in Masaki so she doesn't turn, he will have to live in a human vessel body and give up as a shinigami.

Uh, what did you expect? For things to turn out as they did it wouldn't make sense for Isshin to be like "Hey, I think I love this girl although I only met her once for like 20 minutes. Time to leave SS forever to become a human."

Pretty sure Aizen does some wizardry and tricks the entire SS into forgetting or thinking he died so that no one can interrupt his experiment. I was more taken back by the fact timeline point, so a century between urahara incident (aizen being suspected) to ishin becoming human to protect a girl. So aizen has been backstabbing for a long time.

Aizen has be playing a lot of people for a long time, but he's been toying Ichigo his whole life. Ichigo is gonna go super saiyan jinchiuriky just to beat the crap out of him.

It has to happen, Aizen will somehow free himself from his chair, eat Juhabach and become the last villain of the series.
