Nope, European. Because you know, its not like I played video games all grade 9, and all of the first semester for grade 10 and got good marks while doing it. Its not like its weird tht when I started to work my marks dropped noticeably, it obviously has nothing to do with it, because how could 18 hours a week of work, my whole weekend, drop my marks? Its impossible, its not like it gives me less time to do homework, or stresses me out more, or tires me more. And lets not forget how much motivation it gives me to finish my homework for the weekend knowing I can play games if I have it all finished.

Bro, you play League for like 5-7 hours straight on weekdays per day. Cut that crap down.

Zodiac, you get your homework on weekdays. Do it on weekdays. Back when you didn't have a job you could put off your homework 'til the weekend. Can't do that anymore.
You can blame your job for your grades, but it wouldn't have hurt them if you didn't place gaming above homework in your priorities. Yes, you got 18 hours taken away from your free time. Something had to be cut down. You chose to cut down on homework/studying. Not a wise decision.

On the flip side, it looks like I'll be unemployed for yet another summer and I might have to retake... my entire second semester that I'm about to finish.

Wat. I havent played that long straight in a very long time, the past two weeks I have played one or two ranked then generally just chilled on the internet and maybe played later.

Generally did my homework on weekdays so I didnt have to worry about it on the weekend and could chillax. Now here comes the wall of text.

Its pretty hard to get home after a 7-8 hour shift of work with only 1 hour of break and go "Time to start homework!",in fact, its extremely hard for me to do so, even when I get back from school I dont start homework right away because I need a break. But lets look at all my marks for a second. Religion I got an 85 (A in canada) I am in fact an atheist but I still do the work I just am bored in class. 80 in english (exactly what I had last year as my end mark not even mid term.) which I pretty much got because I made my essay too physiological/historical than it should have been for an essay on a short story. 81 in biology, dont got anything to say about this, always a couple things on the test that just werent on the review and I was not ready for. And finally French.... oh french. First off my parents forced me to take french, the first french test we did, I got a 66%, worst mark ive gotten in about 4 years. And you know what, it was totally ON ME. I didnt study for it more than 30 minutes because the tenses were easy, little did I know she was gonna put them together to make it harder, highest mark was an 82%. second test I changed my plan I studied hard, and got near 100% on every section expect for reading comprehension where I got 3/10. So I got an 84% on that test and was really happy, me and my friend did a project and got 77% on it, totally on my friend because he didnt start his part until the day of and it was one day late meaning lost marks. I figured my mark would have been around a 75 but then I got the 72. Idunno. Also I get a lot of work on the weekends more than weekdays. Also this was pretty much just to vent

Was supposed to go to Jersey Shore over the summer with four friends (let's call them A(male), A2(female), J(male), Jg(female)).

J + Jg are dating (g = girlfriend. Genius.)
A2 supposedly swung for the other team.

A + A2 are now dating.

So I would be the odd one out. I already gave part of the deposit for the condo and I totally don't want to go anymore.

My class's bio average stands at a 55. Roughly 4 weeks left till the end of school and we're down to the wire.
My class isn't the best, and I'm pretty sure they can help themselves, but they just don't understand his ethic, really. He kinda uses reverse psychology on us.
Either way, 5 Final Exams coming up, and I'm ready for 3 of them...the other two, not so much.

A very boring 4/20 for me. Well, not really. Worked, had an arrangement sell as I finished it, got korean food with a friend and watch THG for shits and giggles. Sleepy time now with some Powerpuff Girls!

Finished Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. would rewatch / 10.

Also, had a brief heart to heart with my good friend about if I still have increasingly stronger feelings for my current crush (our mutual friend).

"Just don't repeat the same mistake."

Bleh...

Clearly you must also obtain a girlfriend and do unspeakable things to her very noisily. Or a boyfriend, if that's also an option in your situation.

Found out I finally got my acceptance to UT San Antonio, took you look enough to get my SAT scores over there college board. Now I'm thrown back in the loop of: do I go and take out student loans for this? I got offered full pell, 3.5k sub and 2k unsub loans and a 5k parent plus loan "eligibility." My dad has terrible credit and my mom isn't that much better so I don't really count on that. If I can't be assured a job at the same pay or better at the same hours or better, I can't go. Also with that I'll probably only be able to handle 2 or 3 classes like I do now, and that may or may not affect my financial aid. I'm just so deathly afraid of debt and ending fucked up like my Dad.

A lot of people are suggesting I just take out ALL THe LOANS and go to get out and be happy and pursue what I want and figure it out as I go but that sounds so reckless and dangerous to me. Sad

Call their aid office, clearly, and I mean clearly, explain your exact situation-your income, your dad's income, your mom's income, and explain how you've been making ends meet to this point. See if it is possible to come talk to someone at the aid office about clearly explaining how everything works and ask if there is any additional support you can get. You will not receive aid if you are not full time at a university, so you need to take at least 12 credits, but the price of 15 is basically equivalent so you should strongly consider doing everything you can to be in university for as few years as possible. If you decide to attend construct a gameplan on courses and major selection immediately, the course guide is your friend, make college your bi'tch.

I'm having little breakdowns trying to finish the Southperry paper I'm writing. I know I need to rest periodically and not rush to get this done, but dammit my brain is on overdrive and rushing is such an attractive proposition at this point. This is the first paper I've written in a while - since I'm a software engineering student and software engineers aren't exactly known for a proficiency with paper-writing - but I do need to finish this to pass the course.

I have finals on Tuesday and Wednesday and I feel fine for those - I just need to do a few more practice finals for both courses, and that's fine with me - but I'm scared writing this paper is going to take more time than I expected and steal valuable study time.

I am taking the third iteration of an exam on the same one topic in about 5 minutes because I failed the first two. I have studied so much that I should know the topic inside and out, yet I'm constantly curveballed into failing. I've reviewed my notes and the book and I'm positive I'm going to ace it this time. If not, my highest possible grade in the course becomes an 84% and as an Asian college student this bothers me a lot.

Also squatted 315 for 3 and deadlifted 360 for 4 today, fasted, while on a cut, and having done the two exercises on the same day. Life is okay.

All of my transcripts/documents have been mailed, and will arrive at the school in 3-5 days.
I may have to do an over-the-phone interview.
Aside from that, it's just playing the waiting game.

And keeping my fingers crossed.

Feeling like I f'ucked up pretty bad on two of my finals. They just had to be on the same day...

Hammered out more details about going to SA, hopefully secured a job. One Michaels, closest to school, said try back in July to get an exact asnwer. Another, a tad further away, said they could make room for me somewhere, and may need me as a Designer come August anyway. So now I go forth and talk to financial aid and sign a lease soon after I figure the money part out.

Feelin' good about this!
