Bombs go off near finish line of Boston Marathon
#61
I don't want to sound self-entitled, but does the government have any specific support policies for these victims? I don't so much mind dying, but if I were to lose a leg and an arm or perhaps suffer a head trauma as a result of terroristic acts, I'd be pretty pissed.

George Takei on the incident. Only posting it because I thought it was a cool short read and it showed up on my newsfeed

It's sad that the media's never going to show photos like these. I guess combating negative stereotypes doesn't make money.

And the government couldn't fabricate a terrorist organization name to take responsibility?

Apparently someone sent a letter to Obama that had poison and it was intercepted. Could be related.

Could be, but a similar letter was sent to a Republican senator, so who knows.

As nice as that looks, those are kids, not adults. It is a good sign for the near future of their communities, though. It's harder to indoctrinate the youth with so much access to knowledge nowadays.

And that's assuming they wrote that themselves and it expresses their sentiments.
(As opposed to being a piece of propaganda put in their hands for the cameras)

Flonne; In addition to the pictures of Muslims empathizing with the U.S. over this attack, there were pictures in the media of both children and adult muslims in the Middle East protesting terrorism and violence after the attack on the U.S. embassy in Bengazi. I do not think this kind of support is only restricted to children.

By that logic, you should not believe anything you see or read in the media ever. Yes, people usually have an agenda they are trying to get across, but it is clear that many muslims out there are worried about an Islamic backlash in the U.S. and are trying to express that their religion does not condone terrorism or violence.

Here is an article I found that discusses what I'm talking about:

Unfortunately, that's probably the safest thing to do.

That isn't that surprising. this is 'Merica we're talking about.

More seriously, it is kinda sad that those 3 "witnesses" were Saudi.

Maybe we can merge the "Shooting at MIT" thread to this one, since it's been confirmed that the two suspects in the bombings also were involved in the shooting.

Also, this is starting to sound eerily similar to CoD. Except... of course for the fact that what's happening now is not only the opposite, but to a lesser degree.

What do you guys think of this? Sorry it's in spanish.

http://traslaverdad.com/noticias/montaje...de-boston/

Short story, people took pics of what seems to be 3 people using make-up to make an amputee look like an explosion victim. Why? To create a shocking scene for the media. I'm at work so I haven't been able to do much research on the conspiracy claims, but I found it quite interesting.
