Hmm. Assuming you use AEEs all the way and they cost pretty much nothing
1: 100% = free
2: 90% = 1.111 Superior Wards = 11000 NX
3: 80% = 12375 NX
4: 70% = 14143 NX
5: 60% = 16500 NX | 5000 + no-boom
6: 50% = 19800 NX | 6000 + no-boom
7: 40% = 24750 NX | 7500 + no-boom
8: 30% = 10000 NX + no-boom AEE
9: 20% = 15000 NX +
10: 10% = 30000 NX
11-15: 5% = 60000 NX
total: 453000 NX on wards/scroll shields if it was 7 stars without the no-booms.
(don't know exact meso:nx conversion of the 'fair price' of a no-boom but they go for about 20k NX equivalent on bera easily)

The scroll does indeed say "or lower", but who's to say Nexon isn't just being...nexon? Other AEEs specifically state 10% for 10+ stars.

Well, I've EEd some nonboom RA gear before, and it has taken me on average about 200 EEs for the last star. One equip took ~1,200 EEs for all 15 stars. I've done this to about ten equips by now, and it has taken no less than ~700 EEs for 15 stars. Bad luck? I don't know lol.

Edit: Well, it might be different for AEEs. I'm ust saying what happened with regular EEs.

Other AEEs specifically state 10% for 10+ stars.

Cause Nexon's made 3 versions of the same item :/ I'm reasonably sure they all have the 5% rate on 11+, but only the account-tradeable ones have a decent description.

Same applies to regular EEs - tradeable ones say 10% on 8+, untradeable say "5% or less" on 9+.


If it's lower than 5% then obviously the 12-15 stars cost more.

AEEing things are really hard... had another AEE to use but then spent 50k nx on guardian scrolls and still didnt pass =(

It doesn't matter, enhancements on superior equips (and also MEE bonuses on normal equips, except weapons) aren't based on the item's stats. He can just clean slate it and scroll later.

I'm pretty sure the 100 all stat and 40 atk is better than the 5 atk you MIGHT get each scroll.

And it looks way cleaner and better than having it messy scrolled.
Honestly really not that hard to clean slate it later and chaosing for that 5 extra attack lul

Same thing happened to a guildy of mine.
I'm to scared ee mine now ._.

I see a slight problem that is most likely nexons fault on so many levels. After looking at my shoes on the 6th aee compared to the 7th, the weapon defense and magic defense both gained +10. Exactly what the attack/magic was meant to gain. Thank you nexon for screwing that up hard.

I always thought it was an intended feature.
Like, "lol up yours spend more nx to try and get those stats"

I guess I got lucky then because the Enhancements on all three of mine added exactly what they were supposed to.
Hiding potential because it's still semi-ugly.

Fixed my shoes, 9 f'ucking Innocence Scrolls later.

I think perfectly even stats is way better.

pretty sure there is an intended (and low) fail rate, the same way that gloves could gain attack at a very low rate, and shoulders gain no enhances most of the time.
