Starting to panic about going back to University life tomorrow. this entire semester has been a big flop for me. Even though seemingly the first year doesn't matter, and my friend who is nearing the end of his second year said that the second semester is the one where everybody slacks off, I still feel shoddy because I haven't done much. My attendance is sucky and my work is either lazy or non-existent.
My motivation has just vanished, and I hate it. being at home has been nice, but now I have to go back. I'm determined to try harder, but i've already missed so much this semester that there doesn't seem to be much of a point.
I'm disappointed in myself. but can't find it in me to be motivated about anything. I'm stressed about the things I need to do, stressed about the things which I haven't done and i'm getting no respite from anything. I'm not sure what I need to do to get out of the sinkhole i'm stuck in at the moment.

Marks are dropping, work is awful. Only part of the day I enjoy is lunch time because I dont have to worry about anything. I have more gray hairs than like 10 of my friends put together >.>. (also science a little bit because the most attractive girl I have ever seen is in that class and I cant stop myself from looking at her every now and then.)

Contacted Vancouver Island University and inquired about a few things concerning transfer students.
They seem to have limited admission, so my fingers are crossed.
This school seems more promising than UW-Whitewater, and even as an international student, IS CHEAPER that UWW :f6:
That, and Nanaimo is only an hour and a half from Victoria, so Stephen and I could see each other so much more often
(and being a student/as well as the number of days in the country is progress for getting a dual citizenship).

Gotta love paying full out-of-state for UW System. Especially when Wisconsinites peach at us and call us FIBs . Like, we can leave your failing state, nbd.
OT: 5 weeks till graduation, 7 weeks till I move to NYC, and I'm still BLADFGHMAHLTH because (a) I have the last huge push of work to do before being fully done with classes, which I'm trying to get completely finished by next weekend, but (b) it's further driving a massive dent into my job application process, which is incredibly stressful and frustrating because I just haven't had the time I really wanted to focus on it.
UGH. Fingers crossed I'll be done with the vast majority within the next week so I can really commit every waking hour of the next six weeks to the biggest transition of my life.

Just found out I'm changing teachers; from the teacher I hate to a new teacher.
There might be hope for my results now

Have I ever felt the same way after returning to university when I was previously working. I think that in this situation you should consider looking back at the times when you did well and attempt to replicate that as the amount of stress from all ends currently would probably lead to mental paralysis and you'd stay where you are thinking you done screwed up and nothing you do will change it, except that when you're still studying you only truly lose once you give up.
List down your worries first and separate them into the things you need to finish now (Urgent) and the ones that you haven't done (Non-urgent). The easiest way to cope with stress is to tackle a few problems at a time instead of engaging them head on, and once you've settled some of them you'll likely feel more confident that you can do the rest. I always have had this problem whenever my project presentation and quizzes or finals are close by until I realized I just need to focus on the one that's coming first.
That being said I'm sure you can do it, you just need to start putting some effort in. Best wishes!
Edit: As for how my day went, it was pretty normal but I had hoped to not see roadkill right as I was getting dinner. >_>

It's such bs...especially when my hometown is literally 25 minutes from the border of Wisconsin. Oh well. If it gives me the chance of having an 'international' education, so be it. I shouldn't get my hopes up until I hear back from the school, but it's really hard not to
You can do it! Just take it a day at a time and you'll be moving before you know it.
OT: Fashion without Fabric show tonight. I'm so ready to get this over with!

Went into work, busted out custom arrangements like no other. Finished up two for one lady, one that was getting annoying, and two baby shower garters. My pride and joy of today;
And then someone told me I do too many modern pieces, ugh I don't know why that bothers me but I just don't like many traditional arrangements I can do them but they just bother me let me do my job lady people like modern right now ok sheesh.

Caught up on my Doctor Who and got around to watching Da Vinci's Demons. I gotta say, it's pretty good...but when your mind has been corrupted with Assassin's Creed, I couldn't help but wonder a whole lot of stuff that I should be ashamed of... ><

The day hasn't even started and I already feel down.
After 5 or so years of using this computer I think it's going to give up on me soon. Ever since last month the noise that it produces has gone from a neutral soothing sound that I've gotten used to, to an annoying sound of.. struggle. Part of this is because of me though since I've never dusted/opened/done anything to my case and the guts inside.
Still,

Both washing machines in the laundry room across from my dorm are broken - their doors were pried open while they were in the middle of the cycle.
I ventured out and had to go to a different building to find a new room with three machines, and there were people in there. I knew the two people because the girl has come into my room before and bitched about her superficial problems (omg i slept with like 20 guys and now theres drama fml) to my suitemates. and they listen because she's "hot."
They're blocking the way, so I ask if any of the machines are open. They give me a dirty look, ignore me, and go back to their conversation. One of the washing machines has 4 minutes left, but the girl didn't want to wait, so the guy starts yanking on the door until the lock mechanism snaps off. I feel this wasn't the first time he did this considering he said "the others weren't this tough."
So - 3 out of the 5 closest washing machines are broken. I'm assuming all because of this fucking idiot, with roughly ~300 kids to use them.
fucking done with people. can't wait to live on my own.

This guy really likes me, but the main thing that gets me is that he's fat. Like round fat. He would look sooooooo much better if he dropped like 50 or 60 lbs (saw past pics of him before).
Is it wrong for me to say that? ._.
I feel like a plantain..

Spent Friday and today painting 5 jungle animal murals in a hospital as part of my capstone group. We painted a zebra, giraffe, koala, baboon, and a tiger. By far, the best one is the tiger, and it looks bitchin!
Along with that, Ive been up by 7 AM these last three days and getting to bed by 2 AM because I am so busy. I am tired as hell, and even took a 3 hour nap yesterday, and I HATE taking naps. Tonight, I get a lot of sleep

I'm just digging out my old CSS codes to work on something because attempting to socialize on other networks is a waste of time and I'll never cease to be baffled that other people that I follow reblog/replurk/re-whatever things almost obsessively.
There's a quiz tomorrow too so I'll be studying for that and I'm going to get to see my marks for the semester so I'd say I'm rather nervous.

Kind of want a new tablet because mine mysteriously disappeared. Maybe $50 to $100 range. When I'm not so broke.
