It could be the only way to keep up with the new "Godspeed" Genesect, so I support the "Lightning Forme" theory.

But wait, isn't Mewtwo's base speed a lot higher in the game than Genesect's? Whatever, not all game stuff applies to the anime anyway. (Curse the writers for failing hard when it comes to Colress's "mad scientist" side)

Hopefully it'll be cool like mew and have a blueish shiny form.

Sadly it will probably be an ugly green like Mewtwo.

It's actually worse than it sounds. Mewtwo is already tied for 7th fastest pokemon in the entire game. And, that's counting 3 of deoxys forms (Attack, Normal, Speed) as seperate pokemon. Only electrode, ninjask, deoxys and accelgor are faster.

Mewtwo is one of the last pokemon that needs a speed boost really.

yep, i really like this new form. only thing i dislike is how the... hair? changes color like that. if it had a different pattern (like a diagonal cut or like mewtwo's tail) it would look better imo.

So we've been starved for news for ages and they say they are revealing a new pokemon, but actually reveal a form. Seriously?

The lack of news is annoying me. They still haven't revealed the types of any of the pokemon they've already released, and the misleading wording regarding Mewtwo's new form makes it look like they don't know what they are doing.

It's all misleading teasers so far.

Going back to random discussion, I just saw a video that explained that Giratina is the pokemon version of the Devil. It was at that point that I only just realized the physical similarities between Giratina and Arceus.
(The white and gold colouring, similar shaped feet, similar facial markings)
