Ah. I think its probably your hardware. Sony Vegas allows for GPU Render acceleration, as well as the typical processor rendering. Older hardware will result in a worse quality.

My advice is to stick to 720p when rendering and try to disable resampling (right click video track > properties) as anything more will take a very long time to render.

Well yeah i figured. It's a pirated copy so it's not like i can install on my newer one.
