So what do you guys think this pokemon is going to be?

- An evolution of a past pokemon
- A pre-evolution of a past pokemon
- A new pokemon/Legendary

I wanted to make a poll but couldn't Sad

I personally think it will be an evolution of a past pokemon.

My guess is an electric type elemental monkey to go with Pansage/sear/pour. They're based on the three wise monkeys, but there's a fourth monkey that represents "do no evil"

Either that or a pre-evolution of something. In the video it kind of looks like something small.

I think it's going to be the new "cute" legendary, like Mew, Celebi, and others alike.

Dunsparce evo. A man can dream.

when i first heard about the release of this, the first thing i did was play all the old games though again! cannot wait Big Grin

My bet's that it's going to be a pre-evolution like Wynaut was. I feel like it's going to be something small but interesting.

Unless it's a pinsir evolution, dissapoint.

..This is also acceptable, in fact I feel is more necessary!

I'm hoping it's actually a new Pokemon and not just a gimmicky pre-evo or evo of some old crap that nobody will use or care for like most of the others in the past. I mean, I get that they have to fill each gen SOMEHOW but at least try to stray from the templates now and then. I would be shocked if this gen didn't have your typical birds, bugs, legendaries and whatnot. I think they've gotten too comfortable with their formulas.

I guess an evolution isn't SO bad, but they'd have to do it with something that makes sense and not just some silly, random Pokemon that shouldn't get one but some people want one for laughs. A pre-evo of anything though would be immediate disappoint since you don't even USE those. They're there essentially to make it take longer to get the final evo of that line than it used to.

What Pokemon REALLY needs are rare Pokemon. Not ''legendaries'' because those are just handed to you and they focus so much attention on legendaries that it removes any unique qualities about them. Gen 2 was the only gen that had legendaries that felt like legendaries, but even that wasn't enough. You need things that take effort to obtain, and are pineappleing rare to find to begin with. pomegranate like 1~5% chances, and that are actually GOOD! The flaw with current ''rare'' ones is that they almost always suck ass. They're there literally to fill out the Pokedex as well as allow you to say, ''Yeah, I got that'', but they're garbage. A lot of ''one-offs'' fall into this category and that's the reason why they get no love. Well, another reason is that Pokemon works in segments, or gens, so each gen essentially has you forgetting most of the past Pokemon entirely. They seem to only try vaguely at emulating rarity/value for certain Pokemon but fail at it. ''OMG LOOK AT THIS EPIC POKEMANZ! YOU WANT THEM DON'T YOU?! Well, here's everything you need to catch them. Here's where you can find them, guaranteed. Oops, did we ruin the experience? Oh well!'' I mean, there's HUNDREDS of Pokemon but how many of them even remotely feel ''special''?

Pokemon needs to be more complex than just catching a few Pokes then beating every trainer in the entire game no problem. It's too linear and there isn't a reason to collect most of the Pokemon that exist. You pick your favorites of that gen and beat the entire game. No depth.
ANOTHER thing is stop making the Gyms/Elites use a specific type only. These trainers are supposed to be the top dogs, testing trainers who challenge them. No decent trainer uses only one type. None. Using one type means you find ONE Pokemon that's strong against it for guaranteed victory. They need to have diverse teams so that you can't just plow through with your starter or whatever all the time.

That reminds me of that NASA thing a few years back.

"READY FOR NEWS? THERE WILL BE SOME NEXT WEEK!"

News about coming news. Didn't know that was newsworthy.

It looks egg shaped.

It's definitely going to be bi-pedal or long, according to the oval they used to cover it.

Oh yeah, that thing...

Ugh even a search on Tumblr for a cute Pokemon, like Charmander, will result in awful images. Frown
wait until you see stuff like tyranittar, rampardos or charizard.

let's hope the new pokemon isn't just a very zoomed in baby pokemon

That same day I went on a search for blaziken, denying that there could be any pictures of it.
Boy was I wrong. In the middle of the search I found myself a picture of blaziken without boobs that I liked. :3

Anyway, I actually want an Absol evo, but only cause it's speed is kinda pomegranate and it looks like it could turn out even epicer.

A pokemon I would like to see is a dragon version of Eevee
and by that I don't mean a dragon type of Eevee; I'm meaning a dragon that
evolves into many different types of Pokemon. Monocle

I like the idea of that. Like it's a basic dragon type that evolves into a Fire Dragon, or an Ice Dragon or whatever.
